In such a configuration, the vibration system must be constructed by attaching the weight ring 5 and the dust cap 6 to the diaphragm 3, which requires time and effort to assemble, resulting in poor productivity.
The weight ring 5 and the dust cap 6 tend to be eccentric due to poor adhesion, and the weight ring 5 and the dust cap 6 tend to be eccentric with respect to the diaphragm 3, which prevents the diaphragm 3 from vibrating correctly and making it impossible to obtain the desired characteristics. There were some drawbacks that I mentioned.

The diaphragm 10 is manufactured by making paper from pulp fiber or the like, and a dust cap 12 which also serves as a weight ring is coupled to the upper surface of the central portion of the diaphragm 10. The dust cap 12 is made of metal or synthetic resin, and has a flange 14 with a number of small holes 13 formed around its periphery, as shown in FIGS. The flange 14 has a formed structure, and the flange 14 is connected to the diaphragm 1.
It is embedded and fixed in the middle part of 0.

Note that the first layer 19 and the second layer 21 are integrated by the entanglement of fibers, and the dust cap 1
In the second flange 14, the fibers of the second layer 21 enter into the numerous small holes 13 provided in the flange 14, and are intertwined with the fibers of the first layer 19 to be bonded without an adhesive.

In addition, although a paper-making type diaphragm 10 has been described, when two synthetic resin films are heated and their surfaces are bonded together in a molten state to form a cone shape, the dust cap 12 is incorporated and the flange 14 is attached to the film. It is also possible to adopt a structure and a method in which the flange 14 is buried between the flange 14 and the molten resin is poured into the small hole 13 of the flange 14 to join the flange 14.

Since the passive radiator of the present invention is constructed as described above, the dust cap is positioned and connected when the diaphragm is manufactured, so the process of assembling the passive radiator is the process of connecting the damper,
The diaphragm is significantly simplified as it only needs to be connected to the frame, which improves productivity and reduces costs.Furthermore, the diaphragm is well-balanced, without the possibility of the center of the dust cap and diaphragm being misaligned. It operates in a stable state and has stable characteristics, which is of great practical value.
