Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a tire upon puncture and to enable driving, by arranging a strong disc-like member having outer diameter longer than that of a wheel body but shorter than that of the tire in parallel with the wheel body. CONSTITUTION:A disk-like member 3 is made of such material as metal having predetermined strength and fixed in parallel to a wheel body 1 through a securing tool 5. Said disc-like member 3 is provided with a shock absorber ring 6 made of rubber for absorbing shock and improving driving performance. In such arrangement, the diameter of the disc-like member 3 is set shorter than the outer diameter of a tire but longer than the outer diameter of the wheel body 1, and the shock absorber 6 grounds upon reduction of tire pressure due to puncture thereby the disc-like member 3 which does not function normally will function to support the body. Consequently, the tire is protected to enable safe driving on a short distance.
