Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit local air conditioning without changing the air conditioning of the whole of a room, by a method wherein an air conditioner is provided with a master blow-off port and slave blow-off ports, which receive conditioning air from the main body of an air-conditioning machine through a duct, while the slave blow-off ports are provided with blow-off means with directivity. CONSTITUTION:Air, conditioned by the operation of the main body 8 of an air-conditioning machine, is sent to the first and second ventilating passageways 17, 18 of a blow-off unit 10 through the passageway 1a of a duct 11 while indoor air flows into the passageway 11b through the suction port 20 of a master blow-off port 10a and, thus, ventilation is effected.
