That is, in the crawler running part of a snowmobile, a drive sprocket located at the rear end side in the forward direction and at the rear upper part of the ground-contact side roller at the rear end is mounted on an axle case extending to the inside of the rubber crawler,
Conventionally, snow would accumulate between the end of the axle case and the inside of the drive sprocket, and when it froze, it would lift the crawler or cause poor engagement between the drive sprocket and the crawler, resulting in problems.

Further, a large number of roller wheels 1 are mounted on the lower side of the track frame 10 inside both rubber crawlers A, and an idler 11 is mounted on the front side of the track frame 10. The engine 12 installed in between is installed to transmit power through a driving shaft 13 to a transmission case (not shown) installed between the rear portions of both truck frames 10, and extends from both sides of the transmission case. The end 3a of the axle case 3 extends inside the running part of the rubber crawler A, which is above the rear wheel 1 at the rear end, and the end 3a and the rear end of the track frame 10. A connecting frame 14 is interposed between the upper part and the end part 3a.
The drive sprocket 2, which is the center of the rubber crawler A in the width direction, is attached to the drive shaft 15 that protrudes further,
A leaf spring 16 is interposed between the axle case 3 and the body frame 7, and the structure is similar to the conventional structure.

Reference numeral 5 designates a curved guide plate, and this curved guide plate 5 is formed into a curved surface along the inner peripheral surface of the rotating part of the rubber crawler A and the drive sprocket 2 of the scraper part 5b, so that the snow is removed from the rubber. A discharge guide surface 5c that guides discharge toward the outside of the crawler A is arranged in series, and mounting holes 17, 17 are bored in the mounting edge 5a bent at the upper part of the mounting edge 5c, and the end of the axle case 3 One mounting hole 17 of the mounting edge 5a is aligned with the support piece 18 protruding from the end 3a and fixed with a bolt nut 19, and the other mounting edge 5a is mounted on the mounting surface 20 formed at the lower part of the tip side of the end 3a. The holes 17 are aligned and fixed with bolts 21, but when the curved guide plate 5 is installed in this way, the scraper portion 5b of the curved guide plate 5 contacts the inner peripheral surface of the rotating portion of the rubber crawler A on the inner side of the drive sprocket 2. It is installed and constructed so that snow can be guided and discharged toward the body frame 7 on the outer side of the rubber crawler A by cooperating with the discharge guide surface 5c.

Therefore, when the snowmobile travels on snow, while the rubber crawler A rotates and moves forward as shown by arrow A, the snow brought into the rear end side running section of the rubber crawler A is removed by the curved guide plate. Due to the scraper portion 5b and the discharge guide surface 5c of 5, the snow is removed by moving the body frame 7 on the outside of the rubber crawler A toward the outside as shown by the arrow B in FIG. This will prevent snow from accumulating on the axle case 3 on the side of the sprocket 2.

In this way, the present invention provides a snowmobile in which the drive sprocket, which is located on the rear end side in the forward direction and rearwardly above the rear end ground contact wheel, is mounted on an axle case that extends to the inside of the rubber crawler. In the crawler running section, a scraper section that contacts the inner circumferential surface of the running section of the rubber crawler and a discharge guide surface formed in a curved surface across the drive sprocket of this scraper section are provided in succession on the inner side of the drive sprocket. The curved guide plate is mounted on the axle case and is configured to guide snow brought into the rotating part of the rubber crawler inside the drive sprocket to the outside of the rubber crawler and discharge it. Snow brought into the rotating section of the rubber crawler on the inside of the drive sprocket can be completely and smoothly removed toward the outside of the rubber crawler by the scraper section of the curved guide plate and the discharge guide surface. This prevents snow from accumulating and freezing on the axle case, lifting the crawler and causing abnormal tension, or causing poor engagement between the drive sprocket and the crawler. It has the advantage that it can be conveniently placed in the space of the vehicle, that it can be easily attached to the axle case, and that it has a simple structure and can be suitably implemented.
