キヤパシタの組立中の状態を示す断面図で、パツ
キング嵌合後のキヤツプの中空部にユニツトを積
み重ねるようにして挿入した状態を示す。第６図
および第７図は従来の電気二重層キヤパシタの組
立時にユニツトのずれが生じた状態を示す断面図
である。

部４ａを配設した樹脂ケース２と、その下面３ａ
に他方の電極端子５の板状の集電部５ａを配設し
た樹脂製の蓋３からなる外装体に電気二重層キヤ
パシタユニツト１を複数個積み重ね、該ユニツト
１をその厚み方向に圧縮して封入してなる電気二
重層キヤパシタであつて、上記樹脂ケース２の底
部２ａ内面上の集電部４ａから内周面上端までの
内部高さＨ１を圧縮前の電気二重層キヤパシタユ
ニツト１の積み重ね高さＨ２より高くし、電気二
重層キヤパシタユニツト１を樹脂ケース２内に積
み重ねて収容し、その上方から蓋３を樹脂ケース
２内に挿入して上記ユニツト１を圧縮すると共に
樹脂ケース２の開口部を封口したことを特徴とす
