周壁との大きな摩擦により擦り洗い作用を受ける
かたわら、ねじれや圧迫の繰返しによる一種のも
み洗い作用をも受けて洗われるものであり、特に
本実施例の場合、容器状撹拌体6はその内外両面
殊に内面を階段状に形成し、且つその内面には縦
リブ9を設けているので、洗濯物は該容器状撹拌
体6の内面に沿つて上昇する折り横段6aによつ
て一段と強力な擦り洗い作用を受け、回転する折

浄効果を得ることかできる。又、この縦リブ9と
前述の階段形状とによつて容器状撹拌体6自身の
機械的強度をも上げることができ、該容器状撹拌
体6の割れや変形等の虞れも極力少なくできる。
尚、本考案による洗浄効果が優れていることは第
3図に比較実験結果の一例として示した如くであ
り、即ち、第3図において夫々、曲線Aは本考案
による場合、Bは従来の回転羽根方式による場
合、Cはこの考案に先行して考えられた洗い槽回
転方式による場合の洗浄比特性を示し、本考案に

く、強度も充分であるなど、種々の優れた効果を
