像の低電位部にトナーを付着させて現像する現像
手段と、該現像手段にバイアス電圧を印加するバ
イアス電圧印加手段とを備えた記録装置において
、前記光源の消灯時に光記録手段を通過した感光
体領域が現像手段を通過するときの前記現像手段
に印加されるバイアス電圧の絶対値を前記光源の
点灯時に前記光記録手段を通過するときのバイア
ス電圧の絶対値よりも高く且つ前記トナーの濃度
に応じて可変制御するバイアス電圧制御手段を有
