Conventionally, this kind of agricultural and horticultural support has been made by forming a synthetic resin outer covering such as polyvinyl chloride on the surface of a gold mud pipe, and also forming protrusions such as bamboo knots at regular intervals in the axial direction. was commonly used.

However, these agricultural and horticultural supports have long gaps between the protrusions, and the smoothness of the surface between the protrusions is large, so they are not only inferior in binding with strings and winding of vines, but also when forming the above-mentioned bamboo knot-like protrusions, gold plating is used. In order to retain the resin appropriate for the bamboo knot-like protrusions on the surface of the tube, the movement of the metal tube is stopped intermittently, or a moving body that moves back and forth is provided in the cross rad die to adjust the discharge amount. As a result, there have been problems in productivity and molding processability, such as poor adhesion of the synthetic resin jacket to the metal tube.

This invention was researched and developed in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional defects, and instead of agricultural and horticultural supports formed with a synthetic resin outer covering having bamboo knot-like protrusions, it has improved the ability to bind with strings and wrap around vines. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing agricultural and horticultural supports that are excellent in formability.

This invention was invented in view of the above, and is a crosslinked polyethylene formed by a chemical crosslinking method using an organic peroxide, a radiation crosslinking method using radiation energy, a silane crosslinking method using an active silane group and water, etc. on 100 parts by weight of polyethylene. 5
The raw material prepared by adding and mixing ~40 parts by weight is put into an extruder, heated and kneaded in a cylinder one after another, and the polyethylene is melted and the cross-linked polyethylene is discharged from a crosshead die in a semi-molten state, and then transferred to a pipe making machine. The surface of a long metal tube that is formed into a tubular shape and moved laterally through a rad die to the cross is continuously coated and cooled, and the synthetic resin outer covering coated on the long metal tube is semi-molten. The problem was solved by forming fine irregularities due to the crosslinked polyethylene discharged under the conditions, and cutting the fine irregularities into a regular length using a cutting machine.

Next, in order to further clarify this invention, the embodiments shown in the drawings will be described. FIG. 1 is a partially enlarged sectional view of an agricultural and horticultural support according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged sectional view of the same agricultural and horticultural support. This figure shows a model diagram of the manufacturing process. First, prior to molding, 10 parts by weight of crosslinked polyethylene by silane crosslinking method was added and mixed to 100 parts by weight of polyethylene to obtain a raw material, which was then charged into extruder 1.

Then, the raw material was discharged from the crosshead die 2 in a state where the polyethylene was completely melted and the crosslinked polyethylene was semi-molten. An uncoiler 3 is installed in advance on the crosshead die 2.
A diameter of 10Φ+ was formed into a tubular shape using the pipe-making machine 4.
++n+, wall thickness 0.3 mmO A long long metal pipe is inserted so as to move in the direction of the bridge, and the minimum wall thickness on its surface is 0.
.. It is formed by forming a synthetic resin outer cover having a thickness of about 511 Im, and cutting it into a fixed length using a cutter 5 after cooling.

As is clear from the above, the agricultural and horticultural supports of the present invention are made from a mixture of polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene, the polyethylene is melted, and the cross-linked polyethylene is extruded from a crosshead die in a semi-molten state to form the surface of a long metal tube. By continuously covering the product, a product with excellent string binding properties and vine wrapping properties is manufactured, and moldability is improved because there is no need for resin retention associated with the formation of conventional bamboo knot-like protrusions. In addition, similar to general-purpose extrusion molding, the grip land can be lengthened to increase the resin pressure, which improves the adhesion of the synthetic resin jacket to the long metal tube. Since coarse wall-like fine irregularities are formed over the entire surface of the resin jacket, the binding properties of strings and the winding properties of vines are further improved.
