Since both use fluid ink, they have many things in common, such as the method of supplying ink to the recording head. Therefore, they have many problems in common, and the requirements for the ink include the following.

In this system, the wetting agent acts as a binder for the dye and prevents the nozzle from clogging due to drying. On the other hand, the ink does not dry quickly after being transferred to the recording paper, and in order to achieve quick drying, a surfactant is added to the system to reduce the surface tension of the ink and allow it to permeate into the recording paper. method is used. but,
This method has the drawback that the circularity of the dots, which is the ink requirement (6), cannot be achieved due to bleeding of paper fibers.

Further, since the melting point of the organic solvent itself is 130° C. or lower, it can be considered that the solidification point is lower than that, so that no bubbles are generated due to solidification.

In addition, oil-based inks have been generally thought to be inferior in print quality, such as the circularity of dots, because they penetrate quickly into recording paper, but with the ink of the present invention, penetration into recording paper is instantaneous. Good circular dots were obtained with little bleeding of the paper fibers. Moreover, because the ink penetrates instantaneously, the ink dries apparently quickly, and even if the printed matter was touched seconds after printing, the paper did not become stained.
