CONSTITUTION:A silicone gel composition consisting of silicone gel obtained by crosslinking and polymerizing an organohydrogen polysiloxane (R is 1-4C alkyl or phenyl; R' is R, H, OH or alkoxyl) which has constituent units of a unit shown by the formula R2R'SiO1/2 at the molecular chain end, three or more units shown by the formula RHSIO in the molecule and a ratio of the unit shown by the formula RHSiO and a unit shown by the formula R2SiO of 1:1-30 and a low-viscosity silicone oil and a cosmetic containing the said composition. The cosmetic has smooth and refreshing feeling. The composition is produced by sufficiently kneading the silicone gel with the low-viscosity silicone oil and swelling.
