板の周縁に向つて延出した延長部分を有する透光
性導電酸化物からなる第1電極膜、該第1電極膜
及びその延長部分を含んで上記基板表面のほぼ全
面に設けられた半導体光活性層、該半導体光活性
層に覆われた上記第1電極膜延長部分の一部を露
出せしめるべく設けられたスルーホール、上記半
導体光活性層上に於いて複数の発電領域毎に分割
配置されると共に隣接した発電領域の第1電極膜
延長部分に向つて延出する延長部分を有するアル
ミニウムを主体とする第2電極膜、を備え、上記
第2電極膜延長部分は、上記スルーホールから露
出した隣接発電領域の第1電極膜延長部分の一部
と接触して、隣接発電領域に設けられた上記第1
電極膜、半導体光活性層及び第2電極膜の積層体
からなる光電変換素子を電気的に直列接続すると
共に、上記スルーホール周縁の半導体光活性層表
