2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of clothes dryer has been constructed as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6. That is, the rotating drum 2 rotatably supported within the main body 1 has an intake port 2a formed in the front surface and an exhaust port 2b formed in the center of the rear surface. This exhaust port 2b is covered with a filter 6. Further, a fan case 7 having an opening 7a at a position facing the exhaust port 2b is provided at the rear of the drum 2. A fan 7b is provided in the fan case 7 for guiding hot air 4 heated by a heating element 3 disposed upstream of the intake port 2a into the drum 2. This fan γb blows hot air 4 onto the clothing 5, and then introduces it into the fan case γ via the filter 6, the exhaust port 2b, and the opening 7a. The introduced hot and humid air and the cooling air are exchanged with each other on both sides of the fan 7b, dehumidified, and then blown to the heating element 3 again to form a circulation path that blows the heated hot air into the drum 2. 6 is for drying.

In order to detect the degree of dryness of the clothes, a temperature detection sensor 8 is attached to a fan case reinforcing plate 9 provided in the opening 7a. If the temperature detection sensor 8 is attached directly to the reinforcing plate 9, water droplets will adhere to the surface of the temperature detection sensor 8 due to hot and humid air, resulting in false detection. Therefore, the surface of the temperature detection sensor 8 is covered with the resin material 11,
It was made to prevent water droplets from directly adhering to it.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional configuration, the temperature detection sensor 8 is connected to the resin material 1.
Since it was necessary to cover it with a first-grade material, the number of man-hours required was large, which reduced mass productivity. Further, since this temperature detection sensor is fixed only by the metal band 10, there is a problem that the sensor 8 may come off during temperature detection transportation.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the clothes dryer of the present invention includes a drum having an intake port and an exhaust port, an opening on the drum at a position opposite to the exhaust port, and The fan case includes a fan for directing dry hot air introduced from an intake port to an exhaust port, and a groove is formed on the outer surface of the fan case adjacent to the drum from the outer periphery toward the opening. Then, store the lead wire of the temperature detection sensor in this groove.
A case containing a temperature detection sensor led out from the groove is attached to the reinforcing plate attached to the opening, and the inside of the case is filled with a filler.

Function: According to this configuration, the temperature detection sensor can be securely fixed by a simple assembly process of storing the temperature detection sensor in the case and attaching it to the reinforcing plate.Furthermore, since the case is filled with filler, the filling process can be easily performed. This also prevents water droplets from directly adhering to the surface of the temperature sensor.
