る。 Since the length of the message to be recorded varies in answering telephone apparatuses, a method is generally adopted in which a marker signal is recorded on the T-1 tape when the message is finished being recorded. During playback, if a marker signal is detected after playing the message part, the T-
The playback operation for one tape ends. Recording of the marker signal is automatically performed in response to the off operation of the microphone switch for message delivery.
If the user is inexperienced, he or she may easily make the mistake of turning off the microphone switch temporarily before the message is finished, resulting in the marker signal being recorded on the tape. The marker signal recorded at the beginning of the tape is naturally detected when the tape is played back. Therefore, even if an attempt is made to reproduce such a tape, the reproduction operation will stop at the marker signal before the end of the reproduction operation, and the message of the T-1 tape will not be completely transmitted.

According to the present invention, the detection circuit 4 is connected to the delay circuit 3 which causes the detection circuit 4 to start the marker signal detection operation after a certain period of time has elapsed from the start of the tape playback operation.

It is assumed that signals a to d in FIG. 2 are applied to portions with the same reference numerals shown in the block diagram of FIG. 1. At the same time as the reproduction operation of the T-1 tape starts, a marker signal recorded at the beginning, for example, appears by mistake. However, due to the function of delay circuit 3,
At this time, the detection circuit 4 is maintained off. Therefore, this marker error signal is not detected and tape playback continues. Since the detection circuit 4 is kept off during the delay time T arbitrarily set in the delay circuit 3, for example, 5 seconds, even if the marker signal is erroneously recorded during the time T from the beginning of the tape, the erroneous signals are not detected. After the delay time T has elapsed, the detection circuit 4 is switched on and detects the correct marker signal appearing at the end of the message. In accordance with marker signal detection, the output of the detection circuit 4 is sent to a T-2 tape recording circuit or the like.
