  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 針板下のミシン機枠に取着される下メス２
    と、主軸に連動して上下に往復動する上メス台４
    に取着され、下メス２と協働して縫製直前の布縁
    を縫目線に沿つて切断する上メス３とよりなる布
    縁切断装置と、前カバー７を有し、切断された布
    屑が前カバー上を滑り落ちて排出されるオーバー
    ロツクミシンにおいて、上メス或いは上メス台の
    少くとも一方にその上下動に伴つて前カバー上に
    付着堆積する塵埃を掻き落す掻き落し部１０を設
    けた布縁切断装置。 (2) 掻き落し部は縦断面が鋸歯状をなす登録請
    求の範囲第１項記載の布縁切断装置。 (3) 掻き落し部は刷毛或いはワイヤーである登
    録請求の範囲第１項記載の布縁切断装置。
