の用紙の有無を検出する用紙及びカセツト検知装
置において、 前記給紙カセツトに配設された複数の接続端子
と、該接続端子間に接続される抵抗素子と、前記
給紙カセツト内の用紙の有無によつて前記接続端
子間の抵抗値を変化させる抵抗値変化手段と、前
記画像形成装置本体に配設され前記接続端子間の
抵抗値から前記給紙カセツトの種類と前記用紙の
有無を検知する検知手段とを備えたことを特徴と
