で設けられ且つ一端部が当該入力軸に固定される
と共に他端部が前記かじ取歯車軸に固定されるね
じり棒ばねと、前記入力軸を囲むように前記かじ
取歯車軸と同軸一体に設けられた従動歯車と、こ
の従動歯車の筒部に相対回転可能且つこの筒部の
長手方向に沿つて摺動自在に嵌合された筒状のス
ライダと、このスライダの内周面に一体に突設さ
れ且つ前記従動歯車の筒部に形成された螺旋状の
ねじれ溝孔を摺動自在に貫通すると共に先端部が
前記入力軸の外周面に形成された係合溝に緊密に
係止する駆動ピンと、前記ハウジングに取付けら
れると共に前記スライダに連結され且つ前記かじ
取歯車軸に対する前記かじ取ハンドル軸の相対回
転により前記ねじれ溝孔に沿つて移動する前記駆
動ピンと一体の当該スライダの長手方向移動を検
知するトルクセンサと、前記上カバーに取付けら
れると共に前記従動歯車に接続して前記かじ取歯
車軸に駆動力を伝達し得る駆動歯車を有し且つ前
記トルクセンサからの検出信号に基づいて作動す
