Claims (1)
- クランクケースのクランク軸両側に相対して並
設された左右のスカート部を一体的に結合する連
結部材、及びクランクケース内の隔壁部に設けら
れた主軸受部と協働して上記クランク軸を支持す
る複数のメインベアリングキヤツプをビーム部材
により一体的に結合してなるインテグラルベアリ
ングの少くとも一方を具備したものにおいて、上
記連結部材の下方に装着されるオイルパンが通常
より小容量に形成されると共に、同オイルパンよ
り上方のクランクケース内にオイルパンと協働し
てオイルを貯溜するオイルリザーバが設けられ、
更に同オイルリザーバが、エンジン内蔵オイルポ
ンプとエンジンの潤滑を要する各部との間に配置
されていることを特徴とする車両用エンジン。
