Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of slag to buildings and structures by kneading a binder, solvent and dispersant to zinc oxide powder which is a chief material and charging a plasticizer and hardener at need thereto. CONSTITUTION:This slag adhesion preventive agent is constituted of the intimate mixture prepd. by using the zinc oxide powder as the chief material, adding a resin such as satd. polyester resin, PVC resin, acryl, polyamide or polycarbonate as the binder, solvent and dispersant thereto and kneading the mixture. The plasticizer and hardener are added thereto at need. This slag adhesion preventive agent is coated on the surface of a refractory sheet to form a slag adhesion preventive sheet (a) which is disposed on the floor surface of the building or structure. Even if the slag 5 of welding 3 adhere to the sheet (a), the slag does not adhere thereto as the zinc oxide on the sheet (a) surface has good slag removability. The slag adhesion to the buildings and structures is, therefore prevented.

Heating and cooling buildings, steam in industrial plants,
Welding work is performed when installing pipes to carry gas, oil, etc., but the spatter generated during this process adheres to the walls, floors, or structures of buildings, factories, and requires a lot of man-hours to remove. To prevent this, the walls and floors are covered with tin plates, flameproof sheets, and anti-spatter cloth. However, in the case of a tin plate, it is necessary to cut it to match the shape of the part to be covered, and in the case of a flame retardant sheet or anti-spatter cloth, there are problems such as the part where the slag adheres burns out and holes form. For example, a coating agent configured in this way is applied to the surface of a heat-resistant or fire-resistant sheet, and during welding work, the surrounding walls,
Use this sheet by covering the floor with the coated side facing up. At this time, spatter is scattered on the sheet, but since the surface is a zinc oxide surface and has good releasability, no spatter adheres to the sheet.
