ドウマスク5が配置されている。

うという欠点を有することはよく知られている。
第2図のように、継目7がスロツト6の列と直角
をなす場合、スロツト6の列に沿つての走査線パ
ターンの透過率の変化が第3図の特性()で示
すように尖鋭であることがモアレの強度を大とし
ている。この解決策として、第4図に示すよう
に、スロツト6の列に直角な向きと+αなる角を
有する斜め継目11を有するシヤドウマスク5が
提案されている。この場合、スロツト6の列に沿
つての走査線パターンの透過率の変化は第5図の
特性()で示すように、第3図のそれに比較し
て平担に近づくので、モアレの強度は小となる。
しかし、第4図に示すシヤドウマスク5は継目の
向きが全部同一の向きをなしているので、機械的
強度が小で、成型加工に耐えないという欠点を有
する。

5は成型加工に充分耐えるものである。
