Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 夜専分互 本発明は特許請求の範囲第1項の上部概念記シ艷の合成
材料の)3着機械に関する。
又米皮朋 西ドイツ国特許第732156号明細書により公知の、
2つの熱可塑性合成材料の薄片を重ねて溶着するための
合成材料の溶着機械は、電気的に加熱された1つの加熱
くさびを有し、この加熱くさびは溶着過程において薄片
と絶えず接触している。加熱くさびの後方にこれと僅か
な距離を陥でて配置され駆動されている1対の押圧ロー
ラーは薄を絶えず運「りしそして軟化した薄片の部分を
押圧し、・七のことによりこれろの薄片は互し弓こ均一
に結合される。加熱(さびは恨で造られ従って熱伝導の
非常に良い材料から造られている。この様にして力(1
熱くさびから薄片に比較的素早い熱伝導が行わす)1、
斯くして溶着過程は比較的大なる送り速度で実施可能に
なっている。
この様な種類の溶着機械は特定の熱可塑性の合成材料、
例えばPVCの薄片を溶着するのに有用であることが実
証されている。何故ならば一方では溶着綴目が平坦でそ
して歪められることがなく形成され、他方では溶着綴目
に境界を接している縁の部分にも何等の歪みが生じない
からである。
これに反してポリエチレン及びポリプロピレンの薄片を
溶着する場合には、溶着綴目の緑及び溶着綴目に接して
いる縁の部分に波状の変形が生し、この変形は外観及び
場合によっては溶着された対家物の使用可能性が著しく
阻害される。
これらの合成材t、1の薄片の用51X、なる〆古着状
態は次の理由によるものである。即ち、PVCは無定形
のMiIHに構成され、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレン
はそれに反して部分的に結晶性をもつ組織に構成されて
いるからである。部分的に結晶性を有する組織の場合は
無定形の組織とは反対に、/8着接接口加熱され軟化し
た形態で、この接口に直接接している縁の部分も組織の
変化が生し、この変化は引き続いて行われる冷却過程に
おいて元に戻るのであるが、冷却過程において部分的結
晶性の組織に戻るのが妨害される可能性がある。このた
め上記した様な波状の変形が発生する。
旦頂 本発明の目的は、部分的結晶性の組織を持つ合成部材の
薄片でも完全に加工するのに適した、1つの加熱くさび
を6fiえた合成材料溶岩機械を作り出すことである。
!!I那U服ku決米 この目的は特許請求の範囲第1項記載の特徴により達成
される。
加熱くさびを、熱伝導性がくさび中央から側11の方向
に向かって減少するという処置によって、溶着される合
成材料の薄片は加熱くさびの中央部分ではこの部分がエ
ネルギーの流動が大であるため強く熱せられそして縁の
部分では玉名ルギーの流動が僅かであるためあまり熱せ
られない、従って溶着が行われている時、加熱くさびの
範囲の軟化した薄片部分と加熱くさびの側方に位置する
薄片部分との間に急激な温度の違いが存在せず、あまり
急激でない、最も好都合な場合には連続的な温度陸下が
発止している。薄片の大きな範囲に亘って作用し、従っ
て平坦になる温度勾配のために、部分的に結晶性を有す
る組繊−・の戻りが、加熱された部分全体の幅に互って
同時に行われるのではなく、側方の縁の部分から溶着綴
目の中央の方向に向かって時間的に遅延しながら行われ
、そのことにより、最も高い温度になっていた薄片部分
と加熱されなかった薄片部分との間の移行部分において
一様な組織が形成される。この様にして部分的に結晶性
を有する合成部材でも平坦な、歪みのない溶着綴目が得
られそして縁の部分における波状の変形の形成は阻止さ
れる。
特許請求の範囲第2項は本発明による加熱くさびの簡単
に実現される実施形態を示し、この加熱くさびは中央部
分が例えば銀から成り、そして公(;の部分はステンレ
ス鋼が選択されている。
特許請求の範囲第3項の処置によって、形成すべき溶着
綴目の範囲にある薄片部分は溶n接口の幅全体に亙って
申し分ない溶着に必要な温度に加熱されることが可能で
あることが保証される。
実施± 本発明は添付図に示された実脩例によって説明される。
溶着機械のケーシングは基板lから成り、この基板は垂
直な1つの柱2.1つの台3と1つのアーム4を1旦持
し、このアームは1つの頭部5に1多行している。
頭部5に固定された1つの担持体6には駆動された上部
の1つの押圧ローラー7が配置されそして柱2には駆動
された下部の1つの叩圧ローラー8が配置されている。
頭部5の正面には1つの担持体9が旋回可能Sこ支承さ
れており、この担持体上には大体において水1弓二延在
している加熱くさび10が固定されている。加熱くさび
20は銀で造られた仙部11を有し、この軸部は1つの
くさび片12に移行している。くさび片12の4313
の処で終わっている前方の部分には、端の部分にくさび
の形状に適合した挿入物14.15が固定されており、
これろの挿入物はステンレス鋼から成っている。この様
にしてくさび片12は直接隣接し、送り方向■に平行二
こ延在している部分16.17.18に分割され、これ
らのうち中央部分16は高い熱転511 Q4g力を有
する)オ料から成り、一方、外側に位置する部分17.
18は非常に熱伝導能力の低い材料から成っている。
軸部11の内部に2よ公知の態様で2つの電気的加熱パ
トローネ19が配置され、=クパトロー不はくさび片1
2の処まで到達している。加熱パトローネ1つを収容し
ている軸部11の部分は1つのセラミックの520及び
この層を:!っでいる1つの薄板外套21によって囲ま
れている。
作動態様は以下のとおりである。
互いに溶着すべき合成材料薄片Fl、F2は重ね合わさ
れ押圧ローラー7.8の間に挿入され、その際重ね合わ
せる幅は大体において加り、!\くさびlOの中央部分
16の幅に等しくなっている。引き続いて加熱された加
熱くさび10が押圧ローラー7.8から遠<1モ1れた
1つの静止位置から押圧ローラー7.8にのすぐ前方に
位置する作動位置に、2つの薄片F1.F2の間に旋回
され、それによりくさび片12の前部が薄片Fl、F2
と接触する。その結果中央部分16と接触している;W
片の部分は、銀の高い熱伝導能力によるある程度の大き
さの(bedingten [!roBen> エネル
ギーの流によって非常に素早く必要とされる/8若温度
に加熱され、一方くさびの外側部分17.18と接触し
ている薄片部分は、ステンレス鋼の非常に低い熱伝導能
力によるある程度小さなエネルギーの流によって同し時
間に明らかにより低い温度に暖められている。
押圧ローラー7.8の駆動は、加熱くさびIOが時間さ
せられ、中央部分16と接触している)W片部分が軟化
した時に開始され、斯くして合成材料の薄片Fl、F2
の送りが開始される。軟化した薄片部分はこの時押圧ロ
ーラー7.8によって押圧され、そのことによりこれら
の薄片は1つのi8着接目Nの処で互いシニ結合されこ
の接口の幅は加熱くさびlOの中央部分16の幅にほぼ
等しい。
加熱くさびlOから発生するエネルギーの流れと押圧ロ
ーラー7.8の周速度とは、溶着過程が連続的に行われ
る様に互いに同調させられる。
;8着接口Nが形成された後で加熱された薄片部分(ま
再び冷却される。薄片Fl、F2の加熱は重ね合わされ
た又は18着接接口範囲に限定されているのではなく、
この範囲の両側にそれぞれ1つの、くさびの外側部分1
7.18の幅にほぼ等しい幅の縁の部分R1,1テ2が
同時により低い温度に暖められているから、冷却はこの
縁の部分R1,R2の処から出発して、時間的に遅延し
ながら/8着接接口中央の方向に向かって進(〒する。
徐々に進行する冷却過程のため部分的に結晶性を有する
組繊を持つ合成材料の薄片では、加熱されなかって薄片
の範囲と溶着接口Nとの間の移行範囲において比較的一
様な組織が形成され、そのことはこの範囲において薄片
の変形が仕起しない結果になる。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)部分的に結晶性の組織を持つ合成材料の薄片を縫
    目状に結合するため、これらの薄片と溶着過程の間絶え
    ず接触している1つの加熱くさび及び溶着圧力を加えそ
    して連続的に送るための1対の押圧ローラーを有する合
    成材料の溶着機械において、加熱くさび(10)は中央
    部分から側縁の方向に向かって減少する熱伝導性を有し
    ていることを特徴とする溶着機械。
  2. (2)加熱くさび(10)は、直接隣接し、送り方向V
    に平行に延在している少なくとも3つの部分(16、1
    7、18)に分割され、これらのうら中央部分(16)
    は高い熱伝導能力を有する材料から成りそして外側に位
    置する部分(17、18)はより低い熱伝導能力の材料
    から成っていることを特徴とする、特許請求の範囲第1
    項記載の溶着機械。
  3. (3)中央部分(16)は作り出すべき溶着接目(N)
    の幅にほぼ等しくなっていることを特徴とする、特許請
    求の範囲第2項記載の溶着機械。
