トン上部の主燃焼室とを、上記渦流室の略接線方
向に沿つた噴口を介して連通させてなる渦流室式
デイーゼルエンジンにおいて、上記噴口の一部を
形成するとともに、該噴口の開口面積を変化させ
るべく摺動可能に配設された弁体と、エンジン回
転速度を検出する回転速度検出手段と、空燃比を
検出する空燃比検出手段と、検出したエンジン回
転速度と空燃比とに応じて上記弁体の摺動位置を
制御する制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする渦
