される自己診断出力信号あるいは各種データが転
送される各電子制御装置毎に取出された第1ない
し第n信号線と、常時いずれか一方の論理レベル
が出力される各電子制御装置から出力される切換
え信号線とが接続される第1型集中コネクタを有
する車両において、上記第1型集中コネクタに接
続可能な第2型集中コネクタと、上記切換え信号
線の論理レベルを他方の論理レベルに設定する設
定回路と、上記第1ないし第n信号線を介する信
号を選択する選択回路、上記第1ないし第nのい
ずれかの信号線を介する信号の直列/並列変換を
行なう直列/並列変換回路と、上記第1ないし第
n信号線を介する信号の送受信を行なう送受信回
路、この送受信回路を介してデータ送受信制御を
行なう制御手段とを有するテスタとを備え、この
テスタは上記各電子制御装置のアクチユエータを
指定する手段を有し、上記各電子制御装置は上記
テスタにより指定されたアクチユエータを作動さ
せる手段とを具備したことを特徴とする自己診断
