[Detailed explanation of the invention] A conventional vibrating piece type frequency meter has a large number of vibrating pieces with different resonance frequencies arranged in parallel, and their base is directly connected to a mechanical vibration source such as an engine. The frequency of the mechanical or electrical vibrations was measured by making one of the vibrating pieces resonate by contacting them or electrically generating vibrations using alternating current or pulsating current. For this reason, when attempting to widen the frequency range of measurement, a large number of vibrating elements are required, resulting in a complicated and large device. Therefore, the present invention provides a vibrating piece type frequency meter that is extremely simple, compact, and has a wide measurement range.

Fig. 1 is a front view of the embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view thereof, Fig. 3 is a pp sectional view of Fig. 2, and Fig. 4 A, B, and C are respectively of Fig. 3. a-a,b
-b, cc is an enlarged view of the cross section. The three vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3 having the same characteristics formed of band-shaped elastic plates are arranged in parallel inside the box-shaped base 4, and their base ends are connected with the screws 5 mentioned above. It is attached to the base 4, and the tip is held so as to be able to vibrate freely. Further, guide grooves 6, 6 parallel to the vibrating pieces 1, 2, 3 are formed on the inner surfaces of both side walls of the box-shaped base 4, and both legs 8, 8 of the base plate 7 are fitted into the grooves 6, 6. A screw rod 9 which is slidably fitted and rotatably attached to the lower part of the box-shaped base 4 is screwed onto the base plate 7, and a knob 10 is provided on the screw rod. Furthermore, the vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3 pass through rectangular holes in the base plate 7, and inside the rectangular holes there are support stands 11, 12, and 13 made up of three sets of protrusions that hold each vibrating piece from both sides. has been formed.
As shown in FIG.
Vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3 are held at point n, and the tip of each vibrating piece vibrates using that point as a fulcrum. When α is a minute distance, l and n are (m+α), respectively. and (m-α). That is, the supports 11, 12, and 13 are connected so that the above-mentioned relationship always holds. Further, on the front surface of the box-shaped base 4, a frequency scale 14 is formed around the knob 10, and a window 15 is provided so as to face the tips of the vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3.

In the above-mentioned vibrating piece type frequency meter, when the base 4 is brought into contact with a mechanical vibrating body such as an engine, the vibration is propagated to the vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3. When the screw rod 9 is rotated by the knob 10 in this state, the base plate 7 is driven in the longitudinal direction of the vibrating piece, and the positions where the vibrating pieces 1, 2, and 3 are held by the supports 11, 12, and 13 are moved. Therefore, the resonant frequency of the vibrating element changes. Therefore, when the resonant frequency of the central vibrating piece 2 is made to match the vibration frequency of the vibrating body, this vibrating piece 2 moves as shown by the dotted line in FIGS. resonate.
In addition, since the positions where the vibrating pieces 1 and 3 are held by the supports 11 and 13 are slightly biased in opposite directions from their resonance positions, the positions where the vibrating pieces 1 and 3 are held are slightly biased in opposite directions from their resonance positions. vibrates with small amplitude.
That is, by rotating the knob 10, the vibrating piece 2 in the center vibrates the loudest, and the vibrating pieces 1 and 3 on both sides vibrate smaller and with equal amplitudes, as shown by the dotted lines in Figure 1. When the adjustment is made so that the adjustment position of the knob 10 is adjusted, the vibration frequency of the vibrating body can be determined by the scale 14 indicating the adjustment position of the knob 10 at that time.

As mentioned above, measurements can be made easily by providing three vibrating pieces and adjusting them so that the vibrating pieces on both sides vibrate with the same amplitude and the central vibrating piece vibrates with a larger amplitude. Moreover, it can be done precisely. However, if high precision is not required, the vibrating pieces 1 and 3 on both sides can be omitted. Also, by omitting the central vibrating piece 2 and providing only the vibrating pieces 1 and 3 on both sides, precise measurements can be performed with only a little care required for adjustment.

As described above with respect to the embodiments, the vibrating piece type frequency meter of the present invention requires only a small number of vibrating pieces and can perform accurate frequency measurements over a wide measurement range. Moreover, since the number of vibrating pieces is small, the instrument can be made simple and compact.
