Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove troublesomeness in maintenance control by providing a support member and a head holder that relatively approach to and recede from a platen, forming a U-shaped notch in the end portion of the head holder and providing the support member with a stopper. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped notch 9 is open toward the side of a platen 2 in a condition that a thermal head 7 is brought into contact with the platen 2, and a stopper 13 blocks the receding action of a head holder 8 from the platen 2. In a condition that a support member 4 is withdrawn from the platen 2 with a pivot 5 as its center, the notch 9 can be taken off from a fulcrum shaft 6 without interfering the stopper 13 by rotating the head holder 8 with the fulcrum shaft 6 as the fulcrum by approximately 90 degrees. Consequently, since the mounting and dismounting operations of the head holder 8 to and from the support member 4, respectively, can be easily conducted without using a tool, and troublesomeness in maintenance control can be removed.

よりサーマルヘッド7がプラテン2に弾発的に接触され
ている。第1図に示すようにサーマルヘッド7がプラテ
ン2に接触する状態では、切欠9はプラテン2とサーマ
ルヘッド7との接触方向と平行であってプラ・テン2側
に開口されている。そして、支持部材4の両内側面には

作業を工具を用いることなく極めて容易に行うことがで
きる効果を有する。
