外に位置することを検出する検出手段を有し、前
記検出手段による検出時点における前記4個のエ
レメントの各出力信号に基づいてフオーカスエラ
ー信号を生成することを特徴とするフオーカスエ
ラー信号生成回路。 (2) 前記検出手段は、前記4個のエレメントの
各出力信号若しくはこれら出力信号に基づく信号
のピーク値を検出するピーク検出回路からなるこ
