な温度制御が出来なくなるおそれがあり、そのた
め温度が急上昇し炉内のソルトが膨張沸騰して流
出するなど危険な過熱事故に結びつくおそれがあ
つた。

電流の大きさに応じて導通信号を出力するメータ
リレー式電流計を接続し、このメータリレー式電

器を接続したことを特徴とする直接通電加熱式塩
浴炉の過熱防止装置としたものである。かかる構
成によつて塩浴炉の温度が予め設定された、メー
タリレー式電流計の設定電流値を越えた時は、前
記電源開閉装置をしや断し電源を切り、同時に警
報装置を鳴らすことにより、信頼性ありかつ確実
な炉の過熱防止をするものとなつた。従つて、温
度制御用の放射温度検出器、又か熱電対に異常が
生じ、正常な温度制御が不能になつても、危険な
過熱事故がなくなつた。
