CONSTITUTION:A carpet unit 10 is formed in such a manner that a heat generating object 6 that generates heat by being electrically energized and a heat sensing unit 9 that detects the comfort heating temperature of the heat generating object 6 are positioned to wind all around between the top fabric 7 and back fabric 8. A controller 12 that, by detecting the comfort heating temperature of the heat generating unit 6 by the heat sensing unit 9, controls the electric supply to the heat generating unit 6 to control the comfort heating temperature to a desired level. The controller 12 is connected to a connector 15 disposed at a corner 14 of the carpet unit 10 with a power source lead wire 13, and one end of a power cord 17 has a connector 16 that is detachably connected to the connector 15 and the other end of it has a plug 18 that is connected to the power source. In this manner, even if a user is situated at any position on the carpet unit 10, he can operate the controller 12 without almost shifting his body.

In addition, when performing electric heating by using an electric carpet and a Yagura Kotatsu together, connect the power cord of the Yagura Kotatsu to the outlet 30 of the controller 12 of the carpet body 10, and place the Yagura Kotatsu approximately in the middle of the carpet body 10. Then, the power switch 3 is turned on by the power switch heir 31 of the controller 12.
6 is operated to turn on, and electricity is supplied to the heating element 6 of the carpet main body IO, and also to the heating element (not shown) of the tower kotatsu, thereby heating the electric carpet and heating the tower kotatsu. In this case, the heating temperature of the carpet body 10 is set to a predetermined temperature by changing the resistance value of the variable resistor 42 by operating the child 32 for temperature adjustment of the carpet body 10 of the controller 12, and the heating temperature of the carpet body 10 is set to a predetermined temperature. When the power switch 36 is turned on by operating the power switch 31, a voltage is supplied to the power terminal of the control circuit 43, and the input terminal a of the control circuit 43 is supplied with the voltage of the heat sensitive body 9 at the initial stage of energization when the temperature is low. The voltage across the variable resistor 42, which has a large impedance (impedance of the heat-sensitive layer 9c) and is a divided voltage, is small and only a small input voltage is applied, and the output voltage of the output terminal C of the control circuit 43 is large. is applied between the gate and cathode of the thyristor 38, the thyristor 38 is turned on, and when the thyristor 38 is turned on, the relay coil 37a of the relay 37 is energized, and the relay contact 37b of the relay 37 is closed.
When the relay contact 37b of the relay 37 is closed, the heating element 6 is energized and generates heat, and the entire surface of the carpet body 10 is heated by the heat generated by the heating element 6, thereby providing electric heating by the electric carpet. Let's do it. When the heating element 6 generates heat and the temperature of the carpet main body IO rises, the impedance of the heat sensitive element 9 that senses the heating temperature by the heating element 6 decreases, the voltage across the variable resistor 42 increases, and the control circuit 43 The output voltage of the output terminal C becomes smaller and the thyristor 38 turns off, and the turning off of the thyristor 38 cuts off the electricity to the relay coil 37a of the relay 37, opens the relay contact 37b of the relay 37, and generates heat. The power supply to the body 6 is stopped.

Thereafter, the above operation is repeated to control the electric heating temperature of the electric carpet to the temperature set by the variable resistor 42.

In the above case, the setting value of the on/off operation of the thyristor 38 is determined by the resistance value of the variable resistor 42, and when the resistance value of the variable resistor 42 is small, the input voltage of the control circuit 43 becomes small, making it more heat sensitive. Unless the impedance of the heat sensitive body 9 becomes small, it will not turn off and be controlled at a high temperature. Conversely, when the resistance value of the variable resistor 42 is large, the input voltage of the control circuit 43 will become large and the impedance of the heat sensitive body 9 will be low. It also operates off and is controlled to a lower temperature.

When the power cord of the tower kotatsu used together is connected to the outlet 30, the power is supplied to the tower kotatsu via the bimetal switch 40, and the indirect heating resistor 39 is also energized via the bimetal switch 40, causing the indirect heating resistor 39 to generate heat. When the temperature of the indirect heating resistor 39 rises to a predetermined temperature, the bimetal switch 40 is opened to stop the power supply to the outlet 30 and the power supply to the tower kotatsu. Then, when the bimetal switch 40 cools down, the bimetal switch 40 closes again, causing the tower kotatsu and the indirect heating resistor 3 to close.
9 and when the temperature of the indirect heating resistor 39 rises to a predetermined temperature, the bimetal switch 40 is opened and the electrical outlet (3) is turned on.
The power supply to 0 is stopped, and the power supply to the Yagura Kotatsu is stopped.

Thereafter, the heating temperature of the tower kotatsu is controlled to the temperature set by the indirect heating resistor 39 by repeating the above-described operation.

In the above case, the amount of electricity applied to the tower kotatsu depends on the resistance value of the indirect heating resistor 39, and the smaller the resistance value of the indirect heating resistor 39, the more electricity is applied to the tower kotatsu, and the higher the heating temperature of the tower kotatsu. As the resistance value of the indirect heating resistor 39 is increased, the amount of current applied to the tower kotatsu decreases, and the temperature of the tower kotatsu becomes lower.

In addition, as an effect of the embodiment of the present invention, when it is not used as an electric carpet, the controller can be removed and it can be used as a general carpet, making it an all-season type. It is centrally located, making connection work easy and convenient.
Moreover, it is safe because the temperature can be controlled by the outlet itself, and on top of that, the bimetallic switch is turned off by the heat from the kotatsu, so it is safe against abnormal overheating.
