Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the jumping out of papers when a cassette is removed, by contacting a paper feeding plate pressing member by a spring to a paper feeding plate which is pivoted at a cassette main body, when the cassette is not set to an image forming device, to prevent the inclining movement, and releasing the contact when the cassette is set. CONSTITUTION:Before a paper feeding cassette 21 is set to an image forming device 22, a rotary end of the part 28a of a paper feeding plate pressing member 28 contacts the paper loading surface 24a of a paper feeding plate 24 pressing the paper feeding plate 24 to the bottom of a cassette main body 23. When the cassette 21 is set, a slider 28b of the paper feeding plate pressing member 28 is set, a slider 28b of the paper feeding plate pressing member 28 is rotated clockwise guided by a guide 29 against the spring 30, and the contact of the paper feeding plate pressing member 28a to the paper loading surface 34a of the paper feeding plate 24 is released. As a result, the upper surface of a sheet recording paper 25 contacts a delivery roll 27. When the paper feeding cassette 21 is released, and the slider member 28b is released from the guide of the guide 29, the spring 30 makes the paper feeding plate 24 contact the bottom of the cassette main body 23. In such a way, the jumping out of papers when the paper feeding cassette is removed from the image forming device can be prevented.

(Background of the Invention) As a sheet feeding device for an image forming apparatus, there is one shown in FIG. In the figure, 1 is diazo, electrophotography,
This is a paper feeding device connected to an image forming device 2 such as an electrostatic recording device or a printer. Inside the paper feeding device 1, there is provided a shaft 3 that spans both sides of the paper feeding device 1. On the shaft 3, a paper feeding shaft 5 on which a sheet recording paper 4 is placed is mounted. It is rotatably supported at approximately the center (center of gravity position) with respect to the feeding direction. A delivery roll 6 is disposed near and above the end of the sheet recording paper 4 on the image forming apparatus 2 side. or,
A weight 7 is fixed to the paper placement surface 5a of the paper supply book 5 in the direction opposite to the delivery roll 6, and a weight 7 is fixed to the paper placement surface 5a of the paper feeder 5.
b is tilted in the direction in which it comes into contact with the lower surface of the delivery roll 6.

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be described. When the sheet recording paper 4 is placed on the paper feeder 5, the upper surface of the end of the sheet recording paper 4 on the side of the image forming apparatus 2 comes into contact with the lower surface of the delivery roll 6. Then, when the feed roll 6 is rotated in the direction of the arrow in FIG. The sheets are sequentially sent out one by one from the top to the space between the upper guide 8 and the lower guide 9, and fed to the image forming apparatus 2.

According to the above configuration, the paper feeder 5 is rotatably supported at approximately the center (center of gravity position) with respect to the feeding direction of the sheet recording paper 4, so that the paper feeder 5 is moved to the lower surface of the feed roll 6. The torque for tilting in the direction is mainly generated by way 1 to 7 only. Therefore, the torque for tilting the paper feeder 5 toward the lower surface of the delivery roll 6 is substantially constant without being influenced by the number of sheets 1 to 4, The sheet recording paper 4 is placed on the bottom surface of the feed roll 6 at approximately
Since the contact is made with a constant pressure, double feeding of the sheet recording paper 4, misfeeding, etc. are less likely to occur. Furthermore, recording paper can be easily replenished mid-way by rotating the paper feeder 5 clockwise in FIG. 6 from way (-7 direction). Since it can be realized with a mechanism that only requires a weight 7 to be supported on the side opposite to the delivery roll 6, the structure is simple and the cost is low.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The sheet feeding device with the above configuration has many advantages as described above, but when this mechanism is used in the current 10 as shown in FIG. , when the cassette 10 is removed from the image forming apparatus 11, the contact between the delivery roll 12 and the sheet recording paper 13 is released, and immediately the paper feeder 14 rotates counterclockwise in FIG. However, there is a problem in that the sheet recording paper 13 placed on the paper feeder 14 flies out from the cassette 10.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention solves the above problems by providing a paper feeding cassette that is pulled into the image forming apparatus (in a direction in which the paper loading surface comes into contact with the lower surface of the delivery roll). The image forming apparatus includes a paper feeder pivotally supported on a cassette body so as to be tiltable, a paper feed plate holding part that can come into contact with the paper feeder, and a slider part guided by a guide provided in a cassette insertion hole of an image forming apparatus. , comprising a paper feed tray holding member rotatably supported by the cassette body, and a spring having one end locked to the cassette body and the other end locked to the paper feed plate holding member, When the paper feed cassette is not set in the image forming apparatus, the paper feed tray presser comes into contact with the paper feeder, and the spring applies a biasing force to rotate the paper feeder in a counter-tilting direction. When the paper feed cassette is set in the image forming apparatus, the slider portion guided by the guide is pushed, and the paper feed plate press member rotates against the biasing force of the spring. The paper feeding plate presser is moved to release the paper feeding plate holding portion from contact with the paper feeding device.

(Function) In the paper feed cullet of the present invention, the paper feeder is pivotally supported on the cassette body so that the paper loading surface is tilted in the direction in which it comes into contact with the lower surface of the delivery roll, when the paper feeder is not set in the image forming apparatus. The paper feed plate holding member is rotationally biased by a spring and comes into contact with the paper feeder, and tilting of the paper feeder is prohibited, and when setting, the paper feed plate holding member is provided in a cassette insertion hole of the image forming apparatus. The paper feed plate holding member is released from contact with the paper feeder, and the tilting of the paper feeder is also released.

According to the above configuration, since the supporting structure of the paper feeder 24 is the same as that of the conventional example, the torque for tilting the paper feeder 24 is approximately constant without being affected by the number of recording sheets 25. Therefore, the sheet recording paper 25 comes into contact with the lower surface of the delivery roll 27 under a substantially constant pressure, and double feeding or misfeeding of the sheet recording paper 25 is less likely to occur. When the paper feed cassette 21 is removed from the image forming apparatus 22, the paper holding member 28 rotated by the spring 30 causes the paper feed book 24 to rotate in the opposite tilting direction, causing the paper to fly out. do not.

A paper feed cassette in an image forming apparatus includes a paper feed tray that is pivotally supported on the cassette body so that the paper loading surface is tilted in a direction in which it comes into contact with the lower surface of a delivery roll, and a paper feed that can come into contact with the paper feed tray. a plate holding member and a slider portion guided by a guide provided in a cassette insertion hole of the image forming apparatus, and a paper feeding plate holding member rotatably supported on the cassette body; is locked, and the other end is locked to the paper feed plate holding member, and when the paper feed cassette is not set in the image forming apparatus, the paper feed plate holding unit is locked to the paper feed plate holding member. The spring applies a biasing force to the paper feeding plate holding member that contacts the tray and rotates the paper feeding tray in the counter-tilting direction, and when the paper feeding cassette is set in the image forming apparatus, the guide The slider portion guided by is pushed, and the paper feed tray holding member rotates against the biasing force of the spring, so that the paper feed plate holding portion releases contact with the paper feed tray.
