Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily mark an optional pattern, letter or the like in any article, by grinding the article by sand-blast with the use of a grinding mask which is applied on the article, describing the pattern or the letter with the use of a liquid resin mixture containing liquid raw rubber as a main component and acrylic resin as an additive. CONSTITUTION:A liquid resin mixture 3 containing liquid raw rubber as a main component and acrylic resin as an additive is stuck onto a part of the surface of an article 1, in which no grinding is made, and is hardened to from a grinding mask. Then the remaining part of the surface of the article 1, which is not covered with the mask is ground off by sand blast to mark a pattern or letter therein, and thereafter, the resin mixture 3 is removed.

(Prior art) Conventionally, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 53-145819 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 5
As shown in No. 9-107987, this is a method in which a lead plate, resin plate, rubber plate, etc. having a punched pattern is applied to the surface of the article, and the punched pattern is used to engrave the surface of the article by sandblasting. However, is it possible if the lead plate, etc. that becomes the mask 4 is integrated as shown in Fig. 6 (a), or is it possible if the lead plate, etc. that becomes the mask 4 is integrated as shown in Fig. 6 (b)? This is not possible if part of the area is island-like. As described above, this method has the disadvantage that the patterns are limited.

Next, there is a method of adhering resin transfer paper to the surface of the article. This method allows easy adhesion and is easy to mask. However, it is difficult to adhere the resin transfer paper to an unfired ceramic base. In addition, the machines and raw materials for manufacturing resin transfer paper are expensive, and resin transfer paper is required for each desired pattern, increasing costs.

(Function) The present invention, which is constructed by the above means, uses a mixed resin containing liquid raw rubber as a main component and acrylic resin as an additive to print arbitrary patterns or characters on the unscraped portion of the surface of the article. If the part of the pattern or character to be engraved is to be embossed or embossed, the part that is not the pattern, character, etc. is drawn with a water repellent on the part to be scratched on the surface of the article, and then Using this water repellent as a painting mask, the liquid mixed resin is applied to the surface of the article. Therefore, when the mixed resin is solidified, the mixed resin will mask the part of the article that does not have the pattern or text. Then, after the mixed resin has solidified, the mixed resin is used as a grinding mask to engrave the pattern or characters on the article by sandblasting, and finally the mixed resin is removed from the article, thereby completing the method.

Next, in FIG. f51 (b), the liquid mixed resin layer 3 is attached to the surface of the article 1. The method of application is by brushing or dipping. At this time, since the liquid mixed resin layer does not adhere to the surface of the water repellent layer 2, the liquid mixed resin layer 3
is the surface of article 1.

It is formed only in the portions not masked by the water repellent layer 2. The liquid mixed resin layer 3 has liquid raw rubber as its main component, and contains a water-soluble acrylic resin (water-based paint, water-based varnish, etc.) as an additive in order to increase adhesiveness and elasticity.

Here, the raw rubber becomes the main body of the grinding mask material,
It has the effect of promoting removability. The acrylic resin has the effect of improving the adhesiveness of the mask material and increasing its strength against impact during blasting. Furthermore, if acrylic resin is not added, the mask will swell during blasting and the mask sections will become unclear.

In FIG. 1C, the surface of the article 1 is ground by sandblasting using the rubbery mixed resin layer 3 as a grinding mask. At this time, the rubber-like mixed resin layer 3 acts as an impact force-reducing material for the sand-like abrasive material used in sandblasting.

Further, unlike the conventional sandblasting mask, the mask made of the mixed resin layer 3 can mask the entire surface of the article 1. This is because, as mentioned above, the mixed resin layer 3 is formed by brushing the surface of the article 1 or by immersing the article 1 in a liquid mixed resin, thereby protecting the engraved part. It also becomes.

First, FIG. 2 is a flowchart in the case where the article 1 is green earthenware or unglazed earthenware. Here, water repellent layer 2
is formed by handwriting, printing, or using a copper plate, etc., and this is called decoration. Also, in order to improve the adhesion of the mixed resin layer 3,
Mix ceramic paste with the makeup soil. Furthermore, as shown in the figure, any of the steps of applying the water repellent layer 2 and the makeup soil may be performed first.

Next, when the liquid mixed resin dries, it becomes rubbery and loses water permeability. Since the pottery base has water absorption properties, the liquid mixed resin layer 3 adhering to this base dries quickly, and the liquid mixed resin adhering to the water repellent M2 is not absorbed by the base, so it takes time to dry. It takes. Utilizing this difference in drying time, the undried liquid mixed resin adhering to the water repellent layer 2 is washed away with water, and then dried. Note that natural drying is optimal for drying the liquid mixed resin, but if it is urgent, air drying may be used.

Next, FIG. 3 is a flowchart of a modification of FIG. 2,
In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, either of the steps of forming the water repellent layer 2 and applying the makeup soil to the glazing/coloring step may be performed first.Furthermore, as shown by the dotted arrow, Direct firing may be performed after sandblasting, since the mixed resin M3 will be burned out by firing. In this case, it is necessary to thoroughly remove the sandblasting abrasive (for example, White-7 Random).

If the engraved pattern or character part, or the part of the pattern or character is to be embossed, apply a water repellent to the part that is not the pattern or character that is to be scratched off, and mark this on the painted part. Although a liquid mixed resin is applied as a mask on the water repellent layer and other parts, the liquid mixed resin is not attached to this water repellent layer, only the grinding mask is applied, and therefore, any pattern can be formed. , characters, etc. can be easily adapted and engraved on any article, and manufacturing is easier.
This has great effects, such as being able to reduce costs, and it must be said that it is an excellent invention.
