Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a petal-type type wheel available for braille types and to obtain a low-cost and low-noise printer having good workability for writers of a braille composition, by a method wherein the petal-type type wheel comprises a type portion consisting of a set of normal characters and dots for braille capable of printing braille letters corresponding to the respective normal characters by being combined. CONSTITUTION:A petal-type type wheel consists of a mount hole 2 to a printer body, a center disk 1 having square holes 3 regulating a rotating direction, a spoke portion 4 extending radially from the disk 1, and a type portion 5 provided at the tip end of the spoke portion 4.
