Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the slideproof performance of a tire in simple ways by forming a number of grooves and through holes onto the surface of a tire cover and installing a piece having a foot extended and contracted by a spring around a spike pin, in demountable ways into the through hole. CONSTITUTION:A tire cover 1 is formed into a semicircular cylindrical section, for example, into a round shape free from joint part, and can be installed onto a tire T in the state where the pneumatic pressure is released. Further, a number of grooves 2 are formed onto the surface of the tire cover 1, and a number of through holes 3 are formed onto the top part formed by these grooves 2. While, a piece A is formed so that, when a know 15 is pulled, the foot 14 is attracted towards a spike pin 10 against a spring 13. After the piece A in the state where the knob 15 is nipped is inserted into the through hole 3, the knob 15 is release, and the piece A is fixed by inserting the foot 14 into between the tire cover 1 and the tire T. Therefore, the slideproof performance of the tire can be improved in simple ways.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a tire cover that can be used not only for shaved tires that have lost their tire pile but also for new tires.

In areas with heavy snowfall, it is common to use cars by replacing regular car tires with spiked tires during the winter. Also, in areas such as the Kanto region that occasionally see snowfall during the winter, I carry tire covers with me.

However, if you change to spiked tires all the time, even if the snow is good during the snowy season, in early spring when the snow disappears from the roads in the city, you will have to worry about whether there is snow on the roads in mountain areas or in the city, and when cold waves will occur. The current situation is that people are running on dry roads with spiked tires because they are not sure whether they will see snow or not, so they are delaying changing to regular tires, causing problems such as noise and dust pollution due to the spikes. Furthermore, in the case of tire chains, if you drive on a snow-free road with them attached, they often wear out and break after a while, and it is also inconvenient for inexperienced people to attach them.

For this reason, various research and development efforts have been made to replace spiked tires and tire chains, but nothing definitive has been found.
For example, there is a tire mounting device with an uneven surface like the one in the present invention, but unless it is firmly attached to the tire, there is a risk of it coming off while driving, and when the brakes are applied, the tire will not fit inside the mounting device. There was a danger that the car would spin and run without braking.

The tire cover of the present invention is not only for use on snowy roads like conventional tire mounting devices, but can also be used on roads under normal conditions, and can also be used on shaved tires without tire crests or on new tires. To provide a tire cover that can also be used for tires.

To explain the tire cover of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings, Fig. 1 is a side view of the tire cover (1) of the present invention, and this tire cover (1) has a semi-cylindrical cross section and is attached to the tire. Although it is omitted in the tire mountain (2), the tire cover shown in (a) is a round shape with no seams. (1) is installed to increase the tire air pressure again. (B) Figure shows a tire cover (1) with a seam (6). In this case, the cover (1) is opened and the tire pressure is increased again. It is installed and fixed with a stopper (7). Figure 2 is a half-cut diagram showing the surface of the tire cover (1).
) are carved, and a large number of through holes (3) penetrating through the tire cover (1) are bored in the mountain portion formed by the groove (2). The through hole (3) may be circular or square as shown in the figure and may have any shape, but it is preferable that it be perpendicular to the surface of the tire cover (1).

As shown in Figure 4, the back side (1)' of the tire cover (1) is flat in the case of Figure (A) and is used for Oshibozu tires, and is attached to the tire surface with an adhesive. It sticks and can be used to recycle old tires. In addition, the back side of the tire (1)' shown in the figure is covered with a soft rubber material such as sponge rubber (4), and the tire pile digs into this soft rubber material, causing the tire to fail even when braking is applied. No idling occurs.

As described above, the tire cover (1) of the present invention can be used on old shaved tires and new tires, so it can be used on roads and dry roads.
As shown in Figure 3, the through holes (3) drilled through the surface of the tire cover (1) are perpendicular to the road surface G on paved roads where an adsorption effect occurs and the braking effect occurs when the brakes are applied. Produces the effect of being nervous. T in the figure indicates a tire.

When you release the knobs αS and IS, the foot (14) will enter and be fixed between the tire cover (1) and the tire T (5), and the spike pin a will be inserted into the tire cover (1). The tire cover (1) of the present invention also has through holes ( 3), and this through hole (3) is perpendicular to the surface of the tire cover (1), so that it creates an adsorption effect when touching the ground, and it also adsorbs on mirror-like frozen road surfaces. Rather than creating friction that increases braking force, these tires also function as snow tires even on deep snowy roads.

As mentioned above, the tire cover of the present invention can be used as a retreading tire when used for an old tire of a monk who has no tire mounts, and can also be attached to a new tire in the same way. The holes are perpendicular to the surface of the tire cover, which creates an adsorption effect and increases braking force, making it possible to use both on snowy roads and summer roads.A spike bin is installed in this hole. By doing so, it can also be used as a spiked tire, and it can be easily attached and detached, and I believe that it will be used extremely effectively when spiked tire pollution has become a problem in recent years.
