り外側電極側の酸素濃度を検出するセンサ素子部
の略中間部をパツキン及び該パツキンを境にした
該センサ素子部の基端側に位置するガラス粉末層
を介してホルダにより保持すると共に、センサ素
子部の基端部を、前記ホルダの基端部に固定され
るケースにガラス層を介して保持してなる内燃機
関の酸素センサにおいて、前記ケースを耐熱性を
有しかつガラスの熱膨張係数と近い熱膨張係数を
有する部材により形成したことを特徴とする酸素
