Conventionally, an organic solvent such as trichlorethylene is heated and vaporized in a cleaning tank to form a vapor layer, and when the object to be cleaned is brought into contact with this vapor layer, the object to be cleaned is cleaned with the condensate generated. Steam cleaning apparatuses are known. The cleaning efficiency of this type of steam cleaning device is determined by the temperature difference between the steam and the object to be cleaned, and the greater the temperature difference, the higher the cleaning efficiency. In this case, since the steam temperature is approximately constant, the temperature difference can be increased by lowering the temperature of the object to be cleaned.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail based on the drawings. In FIG. 1, 1 is a body of a cleaning device, 2 is a cleaning tank provided on the body 1, and 3 is a conveyor for transporting an object 4 to be cleaned. The conveyor 3 is disposed in an endless manner on the machine body 1 so as to pass through the inside of the cleaning tank 2, and is driven by a motor 5 to transport the objects to be cleaned into the cleaning tank 2. It is configured so that it can be supplied continuously.

At the inner bottom of the cleaning tank 2, there are a plurality of containers 6, 7 filled with organic solvents such as trichlorethylene,
8, and each container is equipped with a heating device 9 that forms a cleaning vapor layer by heating and vaporizing the organic solvent. A coiled cooling pipe 10 is arranged along the tank wall to suppress unnecessary upward diffusion of the vapor layer, and a horizontal cooling pipe 11 is arranged in the center of the coiled cooling pipe 10 to suppress the rise of the central part of the vapor layer. At the bottom of the cooling pipes 10 and 11, there is a water separator 1 into which condensed droplets flow through a gutter 12 and a saucer 13.
4, and the water separator 14 and the organic solvent container 6 are connected to each other by a reflux pipe 15. As a result, the organic solvent separated from water in the post-condensation water separator 14 flows into the container 6 and is heated and vaporized again. Note that when the liquid level in the container 6 rises, it sequentially flows into the containers 7 and 8 by overflow.

A cooling device 16 is attached to the inlet side of the cleaning tank 2 for cooling the objects 4 to be cleaned that are carried into the cleaning tank 2 by the conveyor 3. As is clear from FIG. 2, this cooling device 16 includes a cooling chamber 1 inside a housing 17 surrounding the conveyor 3
8, and this cooling chamber 18 is connected to a cold air generation source 19 via a circulation path 19a, and the cold air from the generation source 19 is forcibly distributed in a direction across the conveyor 3 by a fan 19b. At that time, the casing is configured to 17, an air outlet 22 in an air curtain device connected to an air source (not shown)
A and a suction port 22b are provided, and an air curtain formed between these is used to isolate the inlet 20 and outlet 21 from outside air.

Further, a cylindrical cover 23 is provided between the housing 17 and the cleaning tank 2 in the cooling device 16 along the conveyor 3, and the cooled object 4 to be cleaned is exposed to the outside air by the cover 23. Direct contact is prevented. Preventing the object to be cleaned after cooling from coming into contact with the outside air in this way prevents moisture in the outside air from condensing and adhering to the surface of the object to be cleaned 4, and is extremely effective in performing subsequent steam cleaning efficiently. It is valid.

Further, inside the cleaning tank 2, a spraying device 24 is provided for spraying a liquid organic solvent onto the cleaning target 4 to mainly wash away solid matter adhering to the cleaning target.

In the figure, 25 is a lid that can be opened and closed, 26 is a conveyor for carrying in the object 4 to be cleaned, and 27 is a conveyor for taking out the object 4 to be cleaned.

In the above-mentioned steam cleaning apparatus, when the organic solvents in each of the containers 6 to 8 are heated by the heating device 9, they are vaporized and a vapor layer is formed in the cleaning tank 2. This vapor layer is cooled by the cooling pipes 10 and 11 and is successively condensed, thereby preventing unnecessary upward diffusion.

On the other hand, the object to be cleaned 4 transferred from the carry-in conveyor 26 to the cleaning conveyor 3 is transferred to the cooling device 16.
It is cooled while passing through, and is sent into the cleaning tank 2 while being isolated from the outside air by the cover 23. When the low-temperature object 4 sent into the cleaning tank 2 comes into contact with the high-temperature vapor layer, the organic solvent condenses due to the temperature difference and droplets flow down the surface of the object. As a result, dirt such as oil adhering to the surface of the object 4 to be cleaned is removed. The object to be cleaned 4 that has been cleaned is immediately dried when it escapes from the steam layer, and is taken out through the take-out conveyor 27.

According to the steam cleaning device of the present invention having the above configuration, a cooling device is provided on the inlet side of the cleaning tank to cool the objects to be cleaned that are sent into the cleaning tank, so that there is a gap between the steam and the objects to be cleaned. By increasing the temperature difference between the two, the amount of steam condensed can be increased, thereby significantly increasing the cleaning efficiency. In this case, the cold air is forced to flow, so that the steam is continuously conveyed by the conveyor. The object to be cleaned can be efficiently cooled in a short time.
