口を有する筒体状容器内に２本の水平に設置され
た、異方向に回転する回転軸を設け、各回転軸に
三枚羽根式の撹拌翼を複数枚づつ、相互に位置を

に隣接する撹拌翼同士を６０°の位相でずらし、
該撹拌翼の最外周部に長手方向に平行な掻き取り
板を取りつけ、回転に伴い該掻き取り板が該容器
内壁の少くとも一部および他方の回転軸側に取り
付けられた撹拌翼の外形に近接して移動する横型
反応器であつて、前記排出口が該反応器の側面に
おいて、前記２本の回転軸が作る水平面高さに配
されてなることを特徴とする表面更新式横型反応
