Claims (1)
- 外側に断熱材被覆を有する発熱体の内側に、カ
ーボン製の炉心管を設け、該炉心管内に光フアイ
バ用のガラス母材を保持し、該ガラス母材を部分
的に加熱軟化させながらフアイバ状に線引きする
光フアイバ製造装置において、前記発熱体の内側
に位置する部分の炉心管の内径が、前記ガラス母
材の外周に接近するように他の部分より細くなつ
ていることを特徴とする光フアイバ製造装置。
