管外壁に接してもしくは近傍に配設された電極と
、該電極に高周波電力を印加する高周波印加手段
とを有する照明装置において、前記高周波印加手
段を前記電極の近傍に配設すると共に、前記高周
波印加手段の出力端に前記電極の入力端を直接接
