刷用紙に印刷を行い、プラテンの回転とともに印
刷用紙を送り、用紙カツタによつて印刷用紙を切
り取るサーマルプリンタにおいて、前記印刷用紙
の先端が前記用紙カツタで切り取られた位置に有
るか否かを検出する検出手段と、前記検出手段の
検出結果が用紙有りと検出している場合は、印刷
駆動を行い、用紙無しと検出している場合は、印
刷駆動を行わない印刷制御駆動手段と、前記検出
手段の検出結果が用紙無しと検出した場合、外部
に警報を発する報知手段とを具備してなるサーマ
