熱し、インクシートのインクを普通記録紙に転写
して記録を行うとともに、感熱記録紙を記録部に
搬送し、記録部でサーマルヘツドにより感熱記録
紙を加熱して発色させ、加熱記録紙に直接記録す
る感熱転写記録方式のフアクシミリ装置において
、前記普通記録紙および感熱記録紙の有無を検出
する記録紙検出手段と、該普通給紙および感熱記
録紙上の印字の有無を検出する印字検出手段と、
記録紙検出手段と印字検出手段の検出結果に基づ
いて所定の警告を発生する警告手段と、を設ける
とともに、記録紙検出手段と印字検出手段を前記
記録部より排紙側の所定位置に離隔して配設し、
普通記録紙あるいは感熱記録紙がセツトされたと
き等の記録紙の初期設定として記録紙を該記録部
