DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION When performing high-frequency induction heating on a metal round bar, heating becomes difficult when the diameter becomes smaller than a certain value with respect to the frequency of the high-frequency current, and this frequency is called the limit frequency. Therefore, in order to inductively heat a wire with a diameter of 2 mm or less, which is a very small diameter example, a device with a high frequency of several megacycles or more and a large amount of power is required, resulting in a high equipment cost. This proposal aims to effectively heat a thin wire with a commonly used induction heating device of several 100 KC at a frequency below the limit frequency. The gist of this is that heating is performed together with the thick round rod (hereinafter referred to as the medium) by integrating it with the outer peripheral surface of the thick round metal rod.

To describe an example, as shown in FIG. 1, a groove 3 is provided in the outer periphery of a thick metal round rod 1 serving as a medium so that a thin wire 2 is buried therein. The structure is such that the thin wire 2 to be heated is buried in this groove. When these are heated by induction by passing a high frequency current through the coil 4, the thin wire 2 is heated together with the medium 1. Induction heating is more effective because the surface layer is heated the most.

If the medium 1 is fixed and the thin wire 2 is moved in the direction of the arrow, continuous heating can be performed, so that a high-speed continuous production facility can be provided economically.
