CONSTITUTION:A magnetic coating compd. essentially consisting of magnetic the magnetic recording layer, then an aq. pigment coating compd. essentially consisting of the pigment and adhesive agent is coated on the magnetic recording layer to provide the pigment coating layer. The aq. pigment coating compd. for which the pigment and adhesive agent are used is prepd. by thoroughly dispersing the pigment and adhesive agent with a mixer and is coated by an air knife coater, blade coater, roll coater, gravure coater, etc., on the magnetic recording layer provided on the raw paper and is dried. The printing on the magnetic recording layer is thereby made possible and the amt. of the information to be recorded is increased; in addition, the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic recording layer are not affected at all.
