空穴の加工を困難にすると共に脚部の機械的強度
が弱くなり打込時に座屈変形を引起すことがあ

る。これら三角状の凹部に隣接する端子コーナ
4,5がプリント回路板の導電性スルーホール部
8に充分に当接するために、端子の反対側コーナ
には面取り部6,7が形成されている。これによ
り、取付部分1の断面形状が弾力的に変形し得る
アコーデイオン形状の電気接触ピン9を構成して
いる。このように構成される電気接触ピン9はプ
リント回路板のスルーホール部8に挿入前、第3
図cに示すように、その取付部分1の寸法はスル
ーホール部8の内径より相当大きい関係にある
が、スルーホール部8に挿入することによりアコ
ーデイオン形状の柔軟性により弾力的な変形を行
ない第3図bの位置関係におさまり、スルーホー
ル部8の損傷を招くことなく比較的軽荷重で挿入
できる。また、スルーホール部8の内径寸法の多
少のバラツキにも対応可能となる。第4図に電気
接触ピン9をプリント回路板10のスルーホール
部8に挿入した時の構成が示されている。
