Claims (1)

、上記呼出ローラの用紙の給送方向側に配置され
ていて相互に食い込んでいる一対の分離ローラと
、これらの分離ローラの食い込み量を変えるロー
ラ変位手段と、上記分離ローラの一方を回転させ
る駆動手段と、上記分離ローラの用紙の給送方向
側に配置されていて用紙の先端を検知する用紙先
端センサとを有する給紙装置において、上記呼出
ローラにより用紙の給送が開始されてから用紙先
端センサが用紙の先端を検知する時点までは分離
ローラの食い込み量を用紙の分離に必要な所定値
とし、上記用紙先端センサが用紙の先端を検知し
た時点で、分離ローラの駆動手段をＯＦＦとする
と共にこの駆動手段の慣性力による分離ローラの
回転を制動し、かつ、分離ローラの食い込み量を
用紙の分離に必要な所定値より小さくすることを
