は困難で、洗浄に長時間を必要とするか、或いは洗浄が
不充分となって治療効果を充分には発揮しないことも少
なくなかった6又、超音波振動子の先端にチップが固着
されていてこれらを貫通する流路がチップ先端に開口し
た洗浄液噴出口を有する構造のスケーラ−も在るが、一
般にこれらのチップは太い上に多くの場合変形しない曲
がり形状を有しているから根管には使用できず、そして
このチップを細くして使用しても洗浄液として主に用い
られるリンガ−液又はその他の薬効成分を混入した洗浄
液中の微細な結晶等がチップの流路を閉塞することがし
ばしばあってその都度チップを取り替えて超音波振動子
に固着し直す必要があり、その作業が甚だ厄介で実用に
供し得ない問題点があった。

端の切口が長さ方向とほぼ直角なものが好ましい。チッ
