Description

【0001】

[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a state of an affected part (periphery of a tooth) to which the present invention is applied (FIG. 1A) and a view showing a state of treating the affected part by a scaling tip according to the present invention (FIG. 1B). In the figure, 1 is a tooth, 2 is plaque attached to the tooth 1, 3 is a cul-de-sac, and 5 is a gum. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. The present invention relates to a scaling tip 10 suitable for removing dental plaque and cul-de-sac (especially at deep places) between the tooth 1 and the tooth 1 as shown in FIG. 1 (B). It is inserted between the gingiva 5 to effectively remove the plaque 2 and the cul-de-sac 3 and further stimulates (ultrasonic vibration) the gingiva 5 near the root of the tooth to improve blood flow. In addition, the present invention relates to a scaling chip that can effectively treat gingiva.
[0012]
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing an example of the scaling chip 10 according to the present invention (FIGS. 2A and 2B), and C- of the tip portion when the example shown in FIG. 2B is used. In the sectional view taken along the line C (FIG. 2 (C)) and the sectional view taken along the line DD of the concave portion (FIG. 2 (D)), the scaling chip 10 has the grip portion 20 integrally or detachably. Or by ultrasonic vibration. When driven by ultrasonic vibration, as is well known, an ultrasonic vibrator is provided in the holding unit 20, and the vibration of the ultrasonic vibrator is transmitted to the scaling chip 10. The tip of the scaling tip 10 is reciprocated in the direction of arrow A by manual operation or while being driven by ultrasonic waves to remove the plaque 2 and the cul-de-sac 3 adhering to the tooth 1. However, when driven by ultrasonic waves, it is necessary to supply cooling water in order to suppress overheating. This may be achieved by manually applying water to the treatment unit. Water is supplied through the inside, water is sprayed from an opening 11 provided above the scaling chip 10, the water is supplied to a contact portion of the scaling chip, and water is supplied to a contact portion of the scaling chip and the gingiva or tooth. To cool the contact.
[0013]
The scaling tip 10 according to the present invention is used as described above. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2 (B), the tooth 1 side is formed in an arc shape in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (A direction), and is formed in an arc shape in a direction perpendicular to the reciprocation (A) direction. The 5 side is formed in a convexly bulging shape (a spoon-like shape), and its tip 13 (shaded portion) is brought into contact with the tooth 1, and the contact portion is manually or ultrasonically irradiated. Is added to the tooth 1 and reciprocated in the direction of arrow A to remove plaque and cecum adhering to the tooth 1. Also, by changing the insertion angle of the scaling chip 10 between the tooth and the gingiva, the back side (convex portion side) of the scaling chip 10 is applied to the gingiva 5 to stimulate the gingiva and activate the gingiva. .
[0014]
As described above, in the present invention, the plaque adhering to the tooth is more effectively removed by applying a larger area to the tooth. However, the portion corresponding to the tooth (FIG. 2 (A), In FIG. 2 (B), plaque is more effectively removed by attaching diamond or other rigid powder to the hatched portion) or forming the portion with a rough surface (file surface). be able to.
[0015]
Furthermore, when the scaling chip according to the present invention is driven by ultrasonic waves, as described above, the contact portion with the scaling chip is overheated, so that this portion needs to be cooled. In FIG. 2 (A), reference numeral 11 denotes an opening for injecting cooling water. The opening 11 communicates with the holding portion 20 through a passage provided in the scaling chip 10, and water supplied through the holding portion 20 is provided. Inject. The water spouted from the opening 11 hits the portion of the scaling tip 10 that touches the gingiva, that is, the back side of the scaling tip 10, and prevents overheating of the gingiva and gangrene of living tissue.
[0016]
FIG. 2B is a view showing another example of discharging the cooling water. In this example, a passage for passing water is provided in the scaling chip 10 and water is injected from an opening 11 of the passage. In the case of this example, a part of the jetted water flows down the upper surface (concave surface side) of the scaling chip 10, reaches a contact portion between the tooth 1 and the scaling chip 10, and cools the contact portion. The remaining part flows down to the back side of the scaling chip 10 through the hole 12 provided in the recess of the scaling chip 10, and cools the contact portion between the back side (convex side) of the scaling chip 10 and the gingiva 5.
[0017]
Further, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 2 (B), the tip of the scaling chip 10 has a concave portion 14 on the concave surface (front surface) side, and the convex surface (rear surface) side is more effectively inflated, so that the gingival contact is made. By making the contact effective, the fountain port 11 is provided above the recess 14 and the through hole 12 is provided below, so that the cooling water can be more effectively supplied also to the back side of the scaling chip 10. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention relates to a scaling tip for removing a tartar or a cul-de-sac existing between a tooth and a gum by inserting a tip between the tooth and the gingiva, wherein the tip is in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction and the tooth. Since it is formed in an arc shape with the concave side, the plaque and cul-de-sac that exist deep between the teeth and the gingiva can be effectively removed , and furthermore, the upper part on the front concave side Since it has an open fountain port and a through-hole below the fountain port on the surface opposite to the concave side, it is suitable for ultrasonic driving that can also effectively cool the contact point with the gingiva.
