In order to solve the same problem, the object of the present invention is to provide an annular groove in the tatami mat corresponding to the planar shape of the architrave of storage furniture in which the architrave is integrally connected to the main body of the storage part; This is achieved by an installation method for preventing overturning of storage furniture, which is characterized in that the storage furniture is installed by tightly fitting the storage furniture into the annular groove.

Figure 1 shows an example of installing a chest of drawers. Chest of drawers (1
) is a normal wardrobe, and the architrave (3) at the lower end
are integrally coupled to the housing main body (2). Tatami (4
) is a regular tatami mat with grooves (5). Groove (5
) has an annular shape corresponding to the planar shape of the architrave (3), and the inner surface of the groove (5) is covered and protected with a tatami face, cloth edge, etc. as necessary. In this example, the groove (5) is provided penetrating from the surface of the tatami mat to the back surface, and the outer part (4a) of the groove (5) is
) and an inner part (4b). A support plate (6) is attached to cover the entire back surface of the tatami (4) to prevent these inner and outer parts (4a) and (4b) from separating (see Figure 2). Especially the Naigai Manryo part (4a), (4b
) does not separate after the chest is installed, so the support plate (6) is not necessarily necessary. Also, the groove (5) is tatami (4)
) The depth may be set so as not to reach the back surface, and in this case as well, the support plate (6) may be used or not as desired. If the formation of the grooves (5) causes a decrease in the rigidity and strength of the tatami mat against bending and twisting, it is desirable to attach a reinforcing plate to the back surface of the entire tatami mat or the outer part (4a). The support plate (6) may also serve as this reinforcing plate. These supporting plates and reinforcing plates can be made of appropriate materials such as metal, wood, and synthetic resin. The tatami mat (4) is usually a ready-made tatami mat, and a groove (5) is created by cutting out a part of it to match the size, shape, and position of the chest of drawers to be installed. If possible, tatami (4) itself @ (5)
Of course, it can be manufactured from the beginning with 1q. Furthermore, in the case of manufacturing the tatami mat with grooves provided from the beginning, the reinforcing plate described above can be incorporated not only on the back side of the tatami mat but also inside the tatami mat.

The chest of drawers is installed by laying a tatami mat (4) with grooves (5) in a predetermined position in the room and tightly fitting the architrave (3) of the chest of drawers into the grooves (5).

This tight fitting can be achieved simply by placing the architrave (3) in the groove (5), but if a gap occurs, it can be achieved by inserting a suitable filler into the gap. Alternatively, the groove (5
) may be set slightly larger. Due to this tight fitting, each part of the architrave (3) receives a pressing force from the side wall of the groove (5) on both the inner and outer surfaces. Therefore, the pressing force does not unilaterally act only on the outer surface of the architrave, as would be the case, for example, when a recess corresponding to the planar shape of the outer periphery of the architrave is provided in the tatami mat and the architrave is tightly fitted into the recess. , it becomes possible to apply a large pressing force to the architrave.

With this installation, the chest of drawers (1) is integrally connected to the tatami (4) via the architrave (3), and the wide installation surface of the tatami prevents it from falling over in the event of an earthquake or the like.

FIG. 3 shows various examples of annular groove formation in the tatami (4). The annular groove (5a) is an example in which its longitudinal direction coincides with the longitudinal direction of the tatami mat (4), and the annular groove (5b) is an example in which its longitudinal direction coincides with the width direction of the tatami mat (4). Of course, it is also possible to provide the annular groove with an angle intermediate between these. The annular grooves (5C) and (5d) are examples in which an annular iM- for one tanzu is divided into two tatami mats (4) and (4).

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the storage furniture has a lower end integrally connected to the main body of the storage part, which is tightly fitted into an annular groove provided in the tatami. Since the storage furniture is installed in the same state, the storage furniture is integrally connected to the tatami mat through the lower end, and the large installation surface of the tatami mat prevents it from falling in the event of an earthquake, providing an excellent fall prevention effect. It is possible to provide a method for installing storage furniture that can be used in a variety of ways. Moreover, since the annular groove sandwiches both the inner and outer surfaces of the architrave with its both side walls, unilateral loads on the inner and outer surfaces can be avoided, and large pressure can be applied without damaging the architrave and the connection between the architrave and the main body of the storage section. The dense fitting can be achieved by applying pressure, and the integrity of the storage furniture and the tatami can be strengthened.
