Conventional Technologies and Their Problems Many methods for installing storage furniture to prevent it from falling have been proposed and implemented, but all of the practical methods involve tying the storage furniture to the walls or pillars of the house. Oh. Therefore, if appropriate adjustment members cannot be fixed to the walls or pillars, no measures can be taken to prevent falls, and if the walls or pillars are weak, a reliable effect of preventing falls cannot be obtained.

The chest of drawers (1) is a normal wardrobe, and the architrave (3) at the lower end thereof is integrally connected to the storage body (2). The architrave (architrave) extending in the width direction of the chest at the front and rear of the chest
3) is provided with a plate-shaped insertion leg (4) extending downward along the architrave (3). Insertion legs (4)
can be fixed to the architrave (3) by an appropriate method such as gluing or screwing. Alternatively, the architrave (3) and the insertion leg (4)
) may be manufactured in one piece. The height of the insertion leg (4) is determined so as not to exceed the thickness of the tatami mat (5), which will be explained below. The tatami mat (5) on which the chest of drawers (1) is installed is a regular tatami mat with a recess (6) provided on the top surface. Recess (6)
is in the shape of a groove corresponding to the planar shape of the insertion leg (4), and its inner surface and outer periphery are covered and protected with a tatami surface, a cloth edge, etc. as necessary. In this example, the recess (6) penetrates to the back surface of the tatami mat, but it may also have a bottom with a thickness that does not lift the insertion legs (4). In addition, if the formation of recesses poses a problem in reducing the rigidity and strength of the tatami against bending and twisting, it is recommended to use metal plates, wood plates, synthetic resin plates, etc. It may be reinforced by pasting it. Usually, the tatami mat (4) is a ready-made tatami mat that matches the dimensions, shape, and position of the chest of drawers to be installed, and a recess (6) is created by cutting out a part of it. If possible, tatami (4)
Of course, it can be manufactured from the beginning with the recess (6) provided therein. In addition, when producing a tatami mat with a recess provided from the beginning, the reinforcing plate described above can be incorporated into the inside of the tatami mat as well as the back side of the tatami mat. To install a chest of drawers, lay a tatami mat (5) with a recess (6) in a designated position in the room, and
This is done by tightly fitting the insertion leg (4) into the recess (6) as shown in the figure. This tight fitting can be achieved simply by placing the insertion leg (4) in the recess (6), but if a gap occurs, it can be achieved by inserting a suitable filler into the gap. Alternatively, the recess (6) may be made slightly larger from the beginning with the intention of inserting the filling.

With this installation, the chest (1) has insertion legs (4)
It is integrally connected to the tatami mat (5) through the tatami mat, and due to the wide installation surface of the tatami mat, it is prevented from falling over in the event of an earthquake or the like. Also, since only the insertion legs (4) are embedded in the tatami mat (5), the architrave (3)
It is located on the tatami floor, and the installation condition is the same as before in terms of appearance.

FIG. 3 shows various examples of recess formation in the tatami mat (4). The insertion leg has a planar shape corresponding to these recesses. The recess (6a) is formed into an H-shape in plan. In this case, the insertion legs are also configured in a planar H-shape, and the support of both side members is reinforced by the central member. The recess (6b) has three grooves formed in the width direction of the chest of drawers, and the effect of increasing the large part of the groove (6b) is that the integrity of the tatami mat and the chest of drawers is strengthened. Depending on the size of the chest of drawers,
It is also possible to have a larger number of grooves (and thus a larger number of insertion legs). The recesses (6C) are formed as scattered holes. The insertion leg has a corresponding pin shape. In this case, the total volume of the voids cut into the tatami can be kept small and the contact area when the legs are inserted can be increased, so that a strong integrity between the tatami and the chest of drawers can be achieved while minimizing the decrease in the strength of the tatami.

By the way, the installation direction of the recess should be as shown in the recess (6a) if the chest of drawers is placed so that its left and right width direction matches the tatami longitudinal direction, and if the chest width direction is the same as the tatami width direction, it should be recessed. (
6G). It is also possible to provide the recess with an angle intermediate between these. Also, if you install one chest of drawers across two tatami mats, the recess should be the recess (6b).
It is divided into two tatami mats like this.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the storage furniture has an insertion leg that projects downward from the lower end integrally connected to the main body of the storage unit, and inserts the insertion leg into the recess provided in the tatami mat. Since the storage furniture is installed tightly fitted into the tatami mats, the storage furniture is integrally connected to the tatami mats through the insertion legs, and the wide installation surface of the tatami mats prevents them from falling over in the event of an earthquake. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a method for installing storage furniture that exhibits an excellent fall prevention effect. Moreover, when installed in this way, the insertion legs are buried in the rock, and the lower end of the storage furniture such as the architrave remains on the tatami, so the appearance is the same as in the case of the conventional installation method. .
