Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an acceptable condition and a rejectable condition to be discriminated from each other even when misregistration in printing occurs, by providing an indication part on the surface of a transparent base by using a transfer foil, and providing register marks at predetermined positions on the back side of the transfer foil and on the base. CONSTITUTION:A releasable layer 2, a colored layer 3 and a vapor-deposited layer 4 are provided on a film 1, and a plurality of register marks 6 are provided near ends of a base 7. The register marks 6 are provided by selectively voiding the vapor-deposited layer 4 in appropriate shapes at such positions as to be hidden by the colored layer 3 as viewed from the face side of an indication panel, when producing a pattern of the vapor-deposited layer 4. On the other hand, metallic molds 11a, 11b for the base 7 are so constructed as to provide the base 7 with register marks 8 at positions corresponding to the register marks 6, so that the marks 6 of the transfer foil 10 come into register with the marks 8 of the base 7 upon transferring.

2. Description of the Related Art In general, a display board has a display section formed on the surface of a transparent base material, and when the display section on the surface of the base material is formed by a transfer foil, for example, as shown in FIG. When the release layer 2, the colored layer 3, the vapor deposited layer 4, and the adhesive layer 5 are formed using a transfer foil formed by gravure printing or the like, the base material 7 is molded with the molding molds 11&, 11b as shown in FIG. It is formed by a method such as in-mold molding in which the transfer foil 10 is transferred at the same time.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in this display board production method, the formation of the pattern on the transfer foil 10 is performed in a separate process from the formation of the base material, so that the base material 7 and the transfer foil 10 are There is a problem that it cannot be said that the positions of the two images are necessarily the same. Therefore, a positioning pattern 9 is provided on the transfer foil 10, and the optical sensor 1
Although the position is regulated by the second method, it is not necessarily always transferred to a constant position due to misalignment between the positioning pattern 9 and the display section, environmental conditions, etc. In this case, it is necessary to know how far the display is deviated from the normal position, since the large positional deviation will cause a defective positional deviation of the display section, which in turn will cause a defect in the entire product. Conventionally, as a method for identifying such positional deviation, pass/fail has been determined by measuring a specified dimension point of the display section one by one using a measuring instrument such as an optical microscope, or by fitting it into a gauge. However, this method is very time-consuming and inefficient, and its accuracy is also poor.

The present invention solves these conventional problems and provides an excellent display board that can identify misalignment between the base material and the transfer foil with a simple configuration and does not damage the appearance. It is something to do.

Means for Solving the Problems The display board of the present invention is formed by using a transparent plate as a base material, and forming a display part on the surface of the transparent plate using a transfer foil. For example, a positional deviation mark is provided in the vicinity of the end face), and a positional deviation mark is also provided at a position corresponding to the positional deviation mark on the transfer foil side of the base material.

Function: The display board of the present invention allows the degree of printing misalignment on the completed display board to be visually identified from the back side of the display board by providing misalignment marks at mutually corresponding positions on the transfer foil and the transparent substrate. This makes it possible to clearly judge whether the completed display board is acceptable or not. Furthermore, since the transfer foil misregistration mark is formed by the colored layer and vapor deposited layer of the transfer foil, it is formed at the same time as the display section is formed.

EXAMPLE Hereinafter, a display board according to an example of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. In the structure of the transfer foil, as shown in FIG. 1, first, a release layer 2 and a colored layer 3 are provided on a film 1, which is the same as the structure of a normal display board. Next, a vapor deposition layer 4 is provided, and in this example, a plurality of positional shift marks 6 with a pattern as shown in FIG. 5 are provided near the longitudinal edges of the base material. This mark 6 is the vapor deposited layer 4
At the same time as creating the 0 pattern, a shape is created by punching out the vapor deposited layer 4 at a position hidden by the colored layer 3 on the front side of the display board. On the other hand, base material molds 11&, 1
Also in 1b, a misalignment mark 8 is formed at the same position of this mark 6 and the substrate 7, so that the mark 6 of the transfer foil 1o and the mark 8 of the base material 7 overlap during transfer.

FIG. 6 shows a state in which the mark 6.8 has been transferred to a normal position, and FIG. 6 shows a state in which the mark 6.8 has been largely deviated. How much did it shift due to this, or in what direction?
Also, it can be determined at a glance whether this deviation is within the allowable range. Furthermore, if the vapor deposition layer 4 is removed as in this embodiment, it is possible to form the positional shift mark without providing a separate layer, which is advantageous.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the display board of the present invention has misalignment marks formed on the back side of the transfer foil and at predetermined positions on the base material.
Therefore, even if printing misalignment occurs due to transfer, it is possible to visually determine pass/fail, which has the effect of eliminating defective products and improving product quality, and also makes it easy to give instructions to correct printing misalignment. This has the advantage that it can be carried out. In particular, according to the present invention, since a vapor deposited layer is used for the misalignment mark, it is possible to form the misalignment mark at the same time as the pattern of the display part is formed without requiring a separate layer, which is extremely advantageous in practical terms, without damaging the external appearance. It is something.
