Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by providing a timer part between an AC oscillating part and the battery of a light pen and performing the intermitting blinking drive with the AC signal. CONSTITUTION:A timer part 1 connected to a battery 7 applies triggers to an AC oscillating part 2 for each fixed time to oscillate intermittently the part 2. The intermittent AC signals are amplified by a power amplifying part 3 for the blinking drive of an LED4. While the time is set by the part 1 so that the part 2 is oscillated just for 1/10ms with the rest 9/10ms stopped in a single cycle, the power consumption is reduced down to about 1/10.
