Moreover, it was devised in an attempt to provide a practical packaging material having a storage recess formed by a forming process such as press molding, vacuum forming, drawing process, or the like.

欠点がある。 Styrene resin foams such as polystyrene resin foam sheets, which are often used as packaging materials that also serve as cushioning materials for products that require cushioning properties, are easy to mold and have excellent pressure resistance, but are relatively hard. Because of its rigidity, there is a risk of damaging the surface of the packaged article, and it also has the disadvantage of being brittle and easily tearing.

包装材として好適でない。 Therefore, we attempted to compensate for the drawbacks of the styrene resin foam by laminating an olefin resin foam such as a polyethylene resin foam sheet on the styrene resin foam. Due to its nature, it is difficult to perform forming processes such as press forming, vacuum forming, and drawing, especially relatively deep drawing. Therefore, the above-mentioned laminate is subjected to a considerable amount of deep drawing depending on the packaging form. Not suitable as packaging material.

る。 In view of the above, the present invention focuses on the fact that cross-linked olefin resin foams have significantly improved moldability compared to non-cross-linked foams, and can also be formed through deep drawing and other forming processes. The above problems are solved by using a crosslinked olefin resin foam. That is, the packaging material of the present invention is made of a sheet in which a crosslinked olefin resin foam is laminated to a styrene resin foam, and has a storage recess formed by molding.

The packaging material of the present invention includes a polyethylene resin foam sheet crosslinked on at least one side of a styrene resin foam 1 such as a polystyrene resin foam sheet, a polypropylene resin foam sheet, etc. It consists of a sheet A made by laminating and integrating cross-linked olefin resin foams 2 by any means such as adhesion or welding, and can be press-formed, vacuum-formed, or drawn depending on the form of the article to be packaged and the packaging form. A storage recess is formed by forming the olefin resin foam 2 on the inside, so that a part or substantially the entire article can be fitted into the recess. The thickness of the sheet is usually set to 1.0 mm to several cm. The styrene resin foam 1 and the crosslinked olefin resin foam 2
It is not necessarily necessary to make the ratio of the wall thickness the same, and the ratio can be configured with a difference depending on the object of use.

きるのである。 As described above, since the packaging material of the present invention is made of the sheet A in which the styrene resin foam 1 is laminated with the olefin resin foam 2 which is particularly crosslinked, the storage recess can be formed without any problem by molding, and the packaging material can be bent. There is no fear that the olefin resin foam will stretch out in the parts. That is, the styrene resin foam 1 not only has good moldability due to its properties, but also
Crosslinked olefin resin foam 2 also has better moldability than non-crosslinked foam, and therefore, although it is a laminate of styrene resin foam and olefin resin foam, Forming processes such as drawing can be easily performed, and a storage recess corresponding to the article to be packaged can be formed by the molding process, and the article to be packaged can be stored and used in this storage recess.

保護効果を発揮できる。 Furthermore, the packaging material A of the present invention is extremely suitable as a packaging material because the characteristics of both the styrene resin foam 1 and the olefin resin foam 2 compensate for each other's shortcomings. That is, the rigidity and pressure resistance of the styrene resin foam 1 on the one hand provide excellent overall shape retention and support for the packaged article in a stable manner, and the flexibility and toughness of the olefin resin foam 2 on the other hand It is possible to cover the fragility of the styrene resin foam 1 and prevent it from tearing and breaking, increasing the overall strength, and especially when the olefin resin foam 2 is placed inside the storage recess that contacts the packaged article. There is no risk of scratching even items with very delicate surfaces, and it can provide excellent cushioning and protection effects.

に優れる。 In this way, the present invention combines the characteristics of a rigid styrene resin foam and a flexible olefin resin foam, and as described above, it can be made by forming processes such as press molding, vacuum forming, and drawing. It can be made into a form with a storage recess without any problems, and it can be used with articles stored in the storage recess. Therefore, this type of packaging material is extremely versatile and easy to put into practical use, and is suitable for industrial use. Excellent effectiveness.
