FIG. 3(a) is a longitudinal sectional view of the spool when the wire l is wound up, and FIG. 3(b) is a front view of the spool as seen from the side wall of the spool. In these figures, the winding is omitted for the machine, but
The spool 2 is rotated by a winding machine to wind the wire 1, but when the winding is finished on the spool 2, it is necessary to fix the wire at the position indicated by A on the spool at the rear end of the wire. In the conventional method, a person inserts the rear end of the wire into a hole made in the spool, bends it 9 times with pliers, etc., and fixes it to the spool.Although this method is completely manual, as shown in Figure 4, the back end of the wire 1 is After cutting the end, push it into the hole 3 of the spool 2 with something like a rod, bend the wire 1 into a U-shape, and use the spring effect of the wire 1 to fix the wire 1 to the spool. This method is used when the wire l is automatically fixed to the spool.

If the hole and push rod are properly aligned and the hole dimensions do not exactly match the sum of the wire diameter and the push rod dimensions, the wire may be easily handled even if it is bent and inserted into the hole. Not a few.

Therefore, even if the locking of the wire rod to the spool is automated, it still needs to be checked manually, and even if there is no problem when winding up the wire, there is still a need to check it manually, and even if there is no problem when winding up the wire, it is necessary to check it manually after it is shipped as a product or for shipping. During packaging, the wire fell out of the spool, causing complaints.

する方法に関する。(Means for Solving the Problems) An object of the present invention is to provide a method for locking the rear end of a wire to a spool, which can eliminate and improve the drawbacks and problems of conventional methods. By providing a method for locking the rear end of a wire rod to a spool as described in the claims, the above object can be achieved. That is, this invention winds the wire around a spool,
When locking the rear end to the spool, attach the
A wire fixing hole is provided that passes through the spool, and the disk of the winding device that holds the spool is in contact with the wire fixing hole, and most of the shape of the periphery is the same as the wire fixing hole. A guide groove extending along the side wall of the spool is provided, and a flexible push rod having a grooved metal fitting at the tip is used to push the rear end of the wire into the wire fixing hole of the spool, and then push the rear end of the wire into the wire fixing hole of the spool. This invention relates to a method for locking the rear end of a wire to a spool, which involves pushing in a guide ILC provided on a disk, bending the wire along the wire fixing hole of the spool, and fixing the wire.

As shown in FIG. 1, the spool 2 is provided with a hole 3 for locking the rear end of the wire 1. A disc 4 of the same type as the spool is provided, which tightly pinches and holds the spool 2 from both sides of the spool 2.
The disk 4 is rotated by a winding device M (not shown),
Wind the wire l onto the spool 2. An opening of the same shape is provided in the disc 4 at a place where the hole 3 for locking the rear end of the wire of the spool 2 contacts, and the circular plate 4 extends from the opening further along the spool side wall with the same shape in cross section. A guide groove 4a is provided. The processing equipment for the rear end of the wire rod will be further explained in Fig. 2, but it is supported separately from the processing equipment for the rear end of the wire rod, and is supported by a bracket 5 on the main body (details not shown) that can move forward and backward, up and down, etc. be done. As shown in Fig. 2, the wire diameter end processing device consists of a cylinder 6 that advances and retreats the rond using hydraulic pressure, an outer cylinder 7 that is fixed to the rond of the cylinder 6 with screws, etc., and a spring inside the outer cylinder 7. 8 and inner cylinder 1
0 is provided. The inner cylinder 10 is supported by a spring 8 and is freely expandable and contractible with respect to the outer cylinder 7.
Furthermore, it has the role of a guide to support the spring 9 inside the inner cylinder IO. A metal fitting 11 is fixed to the tip of the spring 9 and has a groove into which the wire l can be inserted. A groove 4a into which the wire rod 1 can be inserted is provided in a part of the leading edge of the inner cylinder 10. The shape of the metal fitting 11 may be a disk shape or a square plate shape as long as it has a groove into which the wire rod 1 can be inserted. The shapes of the peripheral edges of the hole 3 provided in the spool 2 and the groove 4a provided in the disc 4 are the same, and the edges are rounded, allowing the user to freely advance and retreat within the hole 3 and groove 4a without resistance. Any shape is fine.

Move the wire rod rear end processing device back and forth, raise and lower it, and insert the inner cylinder lO into the position of the hole 3 of the spool 2.
Align the tip of the As shown in FIG. 2, the rear end of the wire 1 which has been wound and cut is inserted into the groove of the metal fitting 11, and the cylinder 6 is operated. The outer cylinder 7 moves forward, moves toward the side wall of the spool 2 with the wire 1 in the groove of the metal fitting 11, and after contacting the side wall of the spool 2, the inner cylinder 1
0 holds the wire 1 in the groove at the tip and is pressed against the side wall of the spool 2. When the inner cylinder lO is pressed even more strongly against the side wall of the spool 2, the spring 8 is compressed, and at the same time, the metal fitting 11 is pushed into the hole 3 by the spring 9, holding the wire l in its mouth. Metal fittings at this time! If the shape of the groove 1 is made sufficiently larger than the diameter of the wire, the wire will enter the hole 3 while being smoothly bent without touching the inside of the hole 3.

is provided at the tip of the flexible spring 9, and the shape of the metal fitting 11 is exactly the same as the shape of the peripheral edge of the guide groove provided inside the disc 4. It can be folded smoothly. When the cylinder 6 is fully pushed, the metal fitting 11 is in the guide groove 4a of the spool 2 and the disc 4.
The result is as shown in Figure 4, and the rear end of wire l is attached to spool 2.
It is bent and fixed in the hole 3 part. When the cylinder 6 is retracted, the metal fitting 11 and the spring 9 come out from the guide groove 4a and the hole 3, the inner cylinder 10 returns to its original state by the force of the spring 8, and the metal fitting 11 and the spring 9 move into the inner cylinder 1.
It is housed and supported by 0.
